Not really, they wanted to pick the characters that haven't had screentime in a long time, because characters like the Flintstones or the Jetsons would have end up taking so much spotlight.

@@EkoBahamut Also, there's a new Flintstones series currently in the works (Bedrock), so those characters were likely off limits, except for Easter egg appearances. Fred and Wilma do appear in this short, sort of. They're the protagonists in the romance novel Cindy is trying to read. A live action Jetsons series was announced about 4 years ago, but I've heard no follow up to it.

Besides they wouldn’t fit in this world because the flinstones is set during the Stone Age and the Jetsons is set in the future and Jellystone is set in the present
