But what we can know for certain is that VP Harris: - Has more statewide executive experience as California's Atty General than several of the newer governors named. - Has more legislative experience and relationships with Congress than any of the governors (including Newsom) - Is the only name I've heard with White House/substantial Executive Branch experience and the insights on how to get things done across the agency landscape - has demonstrated her intelligence, problem-solving skills, and deep curiosity about finding novel solutions to complex issues during her tenure as District Atty, AG, Senator, and VP -Is just a smidge left of center, the ideal moderate that "undecided" voters always claim they are looking for - And has been successful with all of it. Pointing out that Harris is a Black woman as if that is a negative is saying the quiet part out loud; that doesn't negate any of her qualifications; it just highlights the sad reality that her race and gender are for some voters the only thing they can see.

What about all the men of color she locked up for small amounts of weed?

Kamala Harris was born in the United States. Therefore she’s American. Her father is a black Jamaican man and her mother was Indian. That still makes VP Harris an American woman. So what is your point exactly?
