This is a two-part interview! Keep an eye out for Part 2, coming soon!
Research came out recently showing that certain beneficial bacteria have the potential to help combat MRSA (methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus), which is an antibiotic-resistant bacteria. I wanted to share this fascinating research with you because staph infections are a big deal for many in this community!
My guest today is Kiran Krishnan, a Research Microbiologist who has been involved in the dietary supplement and nutrition market for the past 18 years.
He comes from a University research background, having spent several years with hands-on R&D in the fields of molecular medicine and microbiology at the University of Iowa. Kiran established a Clinical Research Organization where he designed and conducted dozens of human clinical trials in human nutrition.
He is also a co-founder and partner in Nu Science Trading, LLC.: a nutritional technology development and research company.
In addition, Kiran is a co-founder and Chief Scientific Officer at Microbiome Labs that has created products like Megasporebiotic + MegaIgG2000.
Kiran is currently involved in 16 novel human clinical trials on probiotics and the human microbiome.
Join us as we discuss some really interesting research about staph infections and probiotics.
SHOW NOTES:

I'm 46 dealt with bad eczema my whole life, plus 4 years ago I started developing bad staph infections requiring constant doxycycline. I started this about 3 weeks ago and my skin has never looked and felt better. Thank you so much. P.S ditch the topical steroids!! Best move I've ever made!

I’m currently suffering from both eczema and I’ve started to develop boils from staph . Started happening two months ago and never went away after taking antibiotics twice. How long did it take for your boil to clear up after starting probiotics? I started a few days ago

I noticed a difference pretty soon, but to totally clear up takes about a week. Even then the area will remain reddish for a while. Look into putting organic garlic on the infection. It's another way to get rid of them without taking antibiotics. It works really good I learned from watching a MMA fighter's video.

I just bought Spore Probiotics yesterday as a result of your videos. I have had chronic lesions above my lip/below my nose that are very painful and don’t FEEL like regular acne. I also applied Tea Tree Oil topically to the area yesterday and have been seeing improvement. However do you think using both in conjunction is overall beneficial? Or will Tea Tree Oil interfere with the incoming good bacteria that will be introduced to my body? Just not sure if Tea Tree Oil will only Target the bad bacteria or if it removes all bacteria on the area

Hello Jenn, can you discuss if there's a difference between taking slow release probiotics and regular ones? I'm wondering if the regular ones aren't surviving my stomach and making it to the GI tract. Thx.

Hello. Please try the probiotic. I'm amazed at how well it's worked so far. I'm 46 and I've suffered with bad ezcema and staff infections my entire life. I can't believe how good my skin looks and feels after only 2 weeks. Shame on big pharma and doctors for not pushing this. Steroids and antibiotics make them to much money I guess.
