Жыл бұрынSkating in Hong Kong is kind of like if you mixed Tokyo, San Francisco, and New York in a bowl and threw everything into one dense city. The end result is a mix of crusty hills and tight alley spots packed into a densely populated concrete maze. We had our Hong Kong Correspondent Ollie Rodgers take us on a tour of some spots with his crew to see more.

Awesome video! Also really cool hearing an old Cambodian rock song in a skate edit, most of it has been lost in the Cambodian genocide but its awesome to see people still discovering music from my people. If anyone is interested in the song it Ros Sereysothea - Chan oun Dop-Pram Muy (I'm 16)

i had a stopover in HK when i was living in China years ago and the spots were super crusty! The HK people were so kind though and the cantonese food and culture was so neat! I hope and pray that the HK people can preserve their culture under the unfair leadership from the north. Long live HK!

I love skateboarding HK in the middle of the night around 2am(mostly to get rid of jet lag) from Wan Chai to Central via Bank of China (you will get kicked out after if unlucky) then Mid Levels especially in February when its cool. Skateboarding at this time is great as there is no one on the street except for the LKF crowd near by. I do love how its smooth and there lots of interesting spots to check. Bombing down Hollywood road at then ss something I enjoy ! Having said this. I like to explore Kowloon side for skate spots.. Like Lai chi kok to Sham Shui Po

that spot with the mini launch past the old folks is like next to my house. I've always wished someone would try to grind or manny those big pale yellow blocks but I always guessed the ride away at the bottom was too chunked up and crusty.

This reminds me of skating in Seoul during th late 90s. There are lots of amazing crusty spots. The high rains in the late summer (late July early August) had construction, making these gritty ass sidewalks/hills. They always had they jankiest ass combination of stairs, slopes, and ledges. It made you wonder what it was actually built for other than skating.

Dope. I used to live there but didn’t have a board and was only there for a couple months. I saw a bunch of weird spots but never anyone skating except at the Happy Valley track not to mention there are people everywhere.

Great video! Showed my old neighborhood from when I grew up! The only thing that could have made this video better is if you would have used old music from HK or Canton. The Thai and Cambodian music is great but Chinese music would have suited better!
