The most beautiful place in China - Jiuzhaigou and Huanglong -Vlog

Here's a trip I did in December to Jiuzhaigou, Huanglong and Hongxing lake in northern Sichuan province. Five of us went on the trip and we had a great time hiking thru the various parks. Jiuzhaigou and Huanglong are more touristy but Hongxing lake is still off the beaten track. I almost drove off a bridge into the water my previous trip so I was nervous about going back, especially in the snow but luckily everything worked out ok.

Thanks. Luckily the travel company was found guilty so they will be blacklisted until I get my money back. I doubt I'll get it all back obviously but at least she is screwed.

@@Ramblingroads I didn't book through any travel agency unless there isn't alternative. Jiuzhaigou and Huanglong is not that difficult to go on your own by taking long distance transport from Chengdu, though it can be long and arduous journey and having to plan everything to get there.

I was there many years ago during autumn. Autumn is when the park is most beautiful with autumnal hues. Winter due to the dangers it pose, many places inside can be closed to the public. If you have the intention to visit China again, I suggest other provinces like Yunnan, Xinjiang, Tibet esp where they have the most number of breathtaking landscapes.

Yes, no doubt Jiuzhaigou is super busy most of the year except winter when I went and even then it was busy. Your right, west China in general is amazing. Yunnan, Sichuan, Tibet, Xinjiang, Gansu and Qinghai are some of my favorites.
