Your table story is true! I wanted a French bulldog puppy. It was not in our budget but I really wanted her. Some how it was the Lord when I went with it with my husband .....the exact money showed up exact in two parts ...2 thousand came from a online gov royalty for music of my husband that we had to apply for and I kept answering the gov calls to sign in for the funds waiting...my husband thought it was a scam it was not and the other a finders fee for helping a guitar builder sell a very expensive guitar from Uk..... I asked if he had a commission for helping sell the guitar for him...money outside our budget...God is amazing.....and this dog has so blessed our lives and I know it was Jesus who gave it to me! And us.

Wow. This is beautiful, EXACTLY what I needed to hear!! Lately Jesus has been teaching me to hear His voice, I've been praying for His help to be able to recognize His voice, His Words, and to follow His Will, to listen to Him.. and I've really been afraid to "Step over that line," but I know God is showing me, through this video, how I must "practice hearing the voice of the Lord," that I must have courage, take risks, and not be afraid to fail, because He Will lead me and guide me, always. Thank you Jenn Johnson! The Holy Spirit works through you (and through all of us) in amazing ways! Thank you to the poster for sharing this.

Anthony Vernon, Concerning the question: where is the scripture. Phil 1:27 (ESV) “Only let your manner of life be worthy of the gospel of Christ, so that whether I come and see you or am absent, I may hear of you that you are standing firm in one spirit, with one mind striving side by side for the faith of the gospel,”

Timo Saksala, Concerning the reply it’s women’s stuff. That is defamatory towards women and the work of God. It’s not women’s stuff, it’s saint stuff. The Holy Spirit is God.
@timosaksala47975 жыл бұрын
@@andreaspretorius7457 You have to admit yourself that there are differencies between men and women, and they have different tasks in the church. Holy Spirit clearly says in the Bible that women should not teach in the congregation/church. So women's teaching in the church is usually for women.
@andreaspretorius74575 жыл бұрын
Timo Saksala, I don’t agree; Paul writes that and you need better context regarding your Theology around women in ministry. I suggest you listen to Kris Vallotton on the topic Empowering women.

God called you to spend money you didn't have to buy organic for yourself? Wow, God really is a Californian... I was wondering, 35 minutes in, why listening to this woman is so exhausting. Now we get to it -- God wants her to have organic food, God wants her to have that Pottery Barn table, that's why God made credit cards, can I get an Amen? And she oh so reluctantly buys it for herself, what a burden to bear... Way to pick up that cross, Jenn! Seriously, first God tells her not to care so much about money, then He tells her, yeah, babe (babe?), go ahead and buy that material thing you've been lusting after. This is what happens when your Jesus is in your head, rather than in the Gospels. If she doesn't spend money, that's God. If she does, that's God, too. Give me a break. The trumpet produces an indistinct sound, to put it mildly. All sarcasm aside, this is a young woman blessed with great looks, a comfortable Christian upbringing, musical talent to boot, who married the son of a pastor whose church and music ministry is incredibly popular. All of this means exactly nothing in the Gospel's system of values. This person has so many tailwinds at her back in life, she assumes she's an incredible cyclist, and that God is in everything she does. This is all perfectly natural and understandable, but means nothing as to whether God is in it. The Apostle Paul never had God tell him, hey babe, you've been working so hard for me, let me give you a trip to Hawaii. Christ and his messengers faced nothing but poverty, opposition, getting beaten up everywhere they went, multiple shipwrecks in Paul's case, being betrayed by their former colleagues, and finally death as traitors to the state and disbelievers in the popular gods. What they did have was a joy that could only come from being loved by Christ, not from any dubious signs of God's "favor". Those poor Christians being beheaded by Isis over in Syria, what would they make of this woman's endless God-talk about the minutiae of her life? God is in the details of her yellow nail polish? (For pete's sake, ladies, never talk to men about your nails or your shoes. We don't care. This is like dopey male preachers comparing God to their favorite football coach -- the winning coaches, of course, never the losing coaches who are actually men of character.) Does anyone need God to tell them to pick up a piece of litter? I was raised by secular parents to do that, because it's the right thing to do. And they were more right in their modest rationale than Jenn Johnson will ever be about God, unless the real God of the Bible, the God who was pleased to nail Christ to a cross -- the God who's not your "babe", Jenn -- really gets ahold of her.
@julianmontanez66354 жыл бұрын
I honestly do believe that God speaks down to the details of our lives. It does sound a bit weird at first but when you open up your mind to God and give him the opportunity to guide you even in something like what you wear or what to do in your life he’ll speak...
@Geno794 жыл бұрын
@@julianmontanez6635 Did you even read what he said?
@remi64084 жыл бұрын
When you read the Bible God does a lot of things that seem “out there” or weird or worldly or insignificant. Instead of judging someone who is sharing a little piece of what her walk with God is like, go walk your own walk with God and obey Him as He leads you. And then “encourage one another and build each other up” rather than criticizing your sister in the Lord. God bless you!
@lilybrigham15113 жыл бұрын
How about we stop judging and focus on ourselves? How about we say something uplifting and if we don't have anything positive to say then don't say it. She is different than you, I'm not saying you have to celebrate it, but respect it.
