Robin would be 72 years old today. HW Bush died 7.5 months after Barbara.

I always thought of her as Mama Bush. She had that air about her. She served us well as First and Second Lady. She served her family well. RIP Barbara Bush. You are a great lady.

I am watching this tribute to Barbara Bush for the first time as my own dear 92-yer-old father passed away on April 19, 2018, and I was unable to truly grieve with the nation that same week. Your grandmother was by far my favorite First Lady ! She just was so real and came across as just another person trying to do her best at the job she had to do. You were so lucky you have her as a grandmother and we had her as our First Lady. God bless you and all your family. And until you see her again on the other side the gratitude of many Americans who felt as I do.

Exceptionally well done! With as much distrust and angst in today's world, how refreshing it was to watch this tribute. Put politics aside for just a moment and watch...and learn...and feel refreshed that there is love around all of us. A great piece to see.

We all wish we had a grandma like Barbra. I had one and she died in 2005 Alzheimer’s. What a beautiful person.

Barbara Bush was AMAZING. Loved her outspoken ways. Loved the fact she didn't always agree with her husband or sons politically and said so. But she did so, not meekly, but with strength, class and style. AMAZING women.🌹

Senadin Music She said something insensitive about the people in New Orleans during Hurricane Katrina who were displaced to Texas: "most of these people were underprivileged anyway, so being housed in the Astrodome is working for them". Never cared much for her after that remark which showed a lack of compassion and empathy to me

Consider for a moment what many of those people led by the self pronounced "chocolate mayor" did to her son who bent over backward and did his best setting new records for disaster relief only to be severely maligned by them. I'm sure Bar would not have said anything like this if they hadn't unfairly attacked W. SO CONTEXT, we knew Bar's heart.

Firstly lets wipe of our tears..........then no words for Barbara Bush...she was by herself a great lady........."no food is allowed in white this is not a hotel" look at this thought of saving government money at presidential level, wife of President and born a president......Lots of love and respect for you.......very nice Jenna your letter really broke our hearts but you also shed light on her life she passed and very great lady passed but gave us a lot.........Mourning with the great Bush Family... God will give you patience in this time of pain of leaving someone so special....
