I am from England and could not have experienced life more different than you, but this is the first time i ever heard of you two. I was intrigued bc i was always led to believe that your father was evil. I’m 56 and totally stunned that i can change a long held belief so quickly. You are amazing. No way could your Father be all that and have such beautiful souls in his children. I’m the mother of twins. A boy and a girl and an elder son. It was difficult and I’m seeing now all my mistakes are coming back to haunt me. It’s awful. So I must have been projecting my own failings on to your Father. I loved every second of this video. I’m very sick at the moment and you cheered me up so much I got the strength to get out of bed and go to see my home. Something I was incapable of doing for over two weeks. Wow.

Beautiful, heart felt and honest stories, each on an individual character and I love how she speaks of her sister. So lovingly, so protective and her sister appreciates that. Their is reciprocation and I loved how their Dad would encourage them through hard times and just be / listen. Happy Anniversary to Mr. & Mrs. Bush and yes, people have their own perceptions, always but you don't need to worry about that. It's what's real that counts and we can see the love and fun they have together and the honest to goodness caring they have for each other. Lucky ladies.

Thank you for this wonderful interview that I just heard with Jenna and Barbara Bush. It was very fun and enlightening and I now understand so much more about the whole Bush family, who they were and who they have become in the current scene of our United States of America. I was enthralled at the humor that they all displayed and their cohesion and love as a family. It was refreshing and enlightening. I myself, though I was born in Calif and raised in Idaho, lived in Texas from 2006 through 2008 and I totally bonded with Texas and Texans. I loved their wild attitude about "we could withdraw anytime from the Union and just might do so and call ourselves The Lone Star State. I felt like and acted like a Texan when I was there. I still have my shirt that my friend, Dan Polk gave me that says, "We Don't Dial 911 In Texas", and I wear it proudly! My great friend and Co- Humanitarian, Nancy Newman and I created "The Humanity Philanthropic Foundation around the year 2000. The stated purpose or Mission Statement is "To Elevate Humanity and the Cultures of Earth Through Education, The Arts and Other Valid Technologies. I cooked up the idea name and mission statement because, being an Anthropologist trained at the University of Colorado (BA) and The University of the Americas in Mexico City

So beautiful! I’m exactly a week younger then the Bush Ladies and grew up watching their headline-creating antics. I did not know much about them, but always felt badly that they were under such a microscope. I would’ve hated someone judging me as a young adult, and I was even a bit boring. As we’ve gotten older, I have deeply enjoyed watching Jenna blossom as a correspondent for NBC and while I knew Barbara was working in the health care field, I had no idea she had created such an accomplished nonprofit! This book is such an amazing tribute to not only Laura and George W. Bush, but to the entire Bush clan. Celebrating family is essential in our current culture. And as the ladies mentioned, it’s fantastic that they wrote a book where they’re uplifting one another. Because of our countries current climate, women need to band together and create bonds of strength, support, encouragement and love. This book is just that. And Thank You for taking the time to “be revealing” 😉. Ps. Mr Man is the name of my brother and SIL’s cat. So you’re story caused me to crack up!!!!!

LOL, that's what I think of when I see them: teens using fake IDs to get drinks, and thinking that being the daughters of the President would go unnoticed. They are twins. One is more outgoing and the other is quieter one. Both Gena and Barbara Love to help a better society with their own kind nature just as their parents the former President Bush 43 and the former 1st Lady Laura Bush as well as their grandparents the former President Bush 41 and 1st Lady Barbara Bush. Both of them are very beautiful and down to earth typed ones. Wish them the best. Let’s forgive each other this time and unite together again by our generosity forgiveness and kindness nature this time and unite together again and get important things done quickly by our country America’s principles and greatness afterward together. It’s never easy to be a President’s life. It’s even harder to be children of the President. Surely it’s the situation for every President and their families to bare such burdens.

I'm so glad I came across this wonderful interview of these loving devoted sisters. KZfaq can be so informative and this was delightful and interesting. It reminds me of our very slight acquaintance of the Bush family. We received yearly Christmas cards from George and Laura during their Governor years and watched you girls grow up. My husband was the President of a Teachers Organization in Texas, TCTA, and ask Barbara Bush to deliver the keynote speech at one of the meetings. Because we have always voted for the Bush family and are registered Republicans she graciously accepted his invitation. I was privileged to sit at the head table between Barbara Bush and my husband, who I consider as important as the First Lady. She was delightful and I felt like I had made a new friend. She complimented me for my eyeglasses and before the meal was finished she had tried them on. Her program was like a campaign speech because George was running for President. She apologized for that and I assured her that devotion to one’s husband is the highest honor a wife can give her husband. That dinner was probably the most satisfying time of my life. I cherish the Thank You note she penned so much in her handwriting. Her passing saw me shed tears of sorrow I didn't know I possessed. I cannot wait to purchase and read her granddaughter’s new book. It makes my heart swell with pride to see their lives so successful.

No one will be able to never make mistakes, I guess, either family members or others from society. My parents allowed me to make mistakes. Unfortunately my parents had to leave us to Hong Kong when I was only 11 years old. I was the youngest one within 7 siblings. Much older siblings although were nice, but won’t like to see a little one to make mistakes sometimes. Often people will learn from mistakes and grow up by learning experiences from mistakes for sure and understand more and do better gradually always. Also have gradually learned own generosity forgiveness and kindness, appreciation to other’s helps, or any good things and help self to make less mistakes by own sincerity, patience, principles and decency. There is no easy things, only to try our own very best, I guess. Let’s reunite together again by our grace and decency nature as generosity, forgiveness and kindness toward each other’s service and mistakes this time and reunite together and get things done quickly together by supporting each other again for our country America’s greatness. Thanks for the sharing and very interesting learning experiences. Miss President Reagan and President Bush 41. RIP.

It's very interesting of this interview, when children are talking their memories of their childhood or the efforts of growing up through their parents' caring, loving, influence and helpful educations directly from their parents as patriotism of own country, principles of being a good person of responsibility, manners, caring to own family and others, honesty and sincerity...etc. Especially as the children are talking about own parents or grand parents as well as our country's former great Presidents as their own parents or grand parents at the same time. It's really worthy to listen or get the book to read completely for all interesting stories, I guess. Both Barbra and Gena are very down to earth typed women as well as straight forward, sincere and pleasant just like impressions as our former Bush1st family's. I am wondering how do President Bush 43 and the former 1st Lady Barbara Bush heard their children talk about how much do they appreciate their unselfish sacrifice towards raising them up, help them grow and become ones want to do the same to our great country and community also from what they have learned from their parents as well as their own immense love towards their parents which can't stop their tears. Very touched, encouraged and inspiring interview.
