I will never understand people who are against organ transplant. In my eyes it is probably the greatest gift you can give, not to mention it serves as a living memorial of who you were. Your life ended, but another life was saved as a result. That is amazing and that’s why I am absolutely a donor.

Im 100% for it and always been a donor as well but i can understand families not wanting to go along with it the thought of losing someone close unexpectedly is horrible enough but then the thought of your loved one essentially getting butchered is just to much to take and accept

I’m very much against it. Body parts weren’t designed to be in other people’s bodies. I’m happy there are those against it.

I just found out that after years of my heart failure being stable I will need a new heart. I'm so fucking scared like no one talks to you about your body failing you at 23 when your life is just starting. I don't want someone to lose their life so mine can continue. I'm really hoping my journey will be successful and I will cherish the heart I get I will live my life to the fullest potential because someone had to lose their life in order for me to have mine.

@@MrGroganmeister Nothing is wrong with me. What’s wrong with you that you think living with someone else’s body part(s) is a good idea or the fact that you think you and others like you think y’all are entitled to some one else’s body part (s) that will not ever belong to you even if it is restitched in your body. You’ll be gone one day with those organs but okay. Just being real. Everyone will come across death at some point. Fact of life. The organs won’t last forever.

I was having my 3rd heart attack during my son's mom's stay in the hospital, for 24 hrs leading up to her giving birth. My son's first three months of life were spent largely with me and his mom in our hospital room where I was being kept, waiting for my new heart. We were able to go "home" for a week or so before I received the call informing me that there was a new heart for me. This was all happening in a matter of several months. It was scary, shocking, intense, enlightening. I was so grateful to be alive for my brand new son. I absolutely love this boy! Fast forward about 20 months and his mom couldn't take being with me anymore so she hoodwinked me into homelessness. That was Feb 2016. I have been struggling to make ends meet for over 6 years now. I have been homeless now for 10 months. I have a heart transplant and take 14 different meds every day just so that I can breathe and live, but there is nowhere for me to stay? Do you have any idea what sort of hell I live everyday
