She hit 3 C6's the other night on a late-night talk show when promoting the Respect movie. She has been using more of her head voice. I think this is because of how Aretha sang.

If you recall that season when she was a contestant, Jennifer came down with a cold one night and didn't perform at her best. She was good, but not her usual best. They think that as an opportunity to vote her off, the very next show. They knew if she had stayed, she would have won.

Instead of Jennifer, an American citizen and born here through and through, and her parents and siblings, and I haven't anything against African or Caribbean Islands or Black British actresses who protrayed us and bearly understand them because of their ascent (language), nominated and won against Black Americans who were born here and live here all their lives (overlooked), then I have a problem with the hypocrisy of ii all and the underhanded motive and attitude against US, and the saddened part of this is that the one who actually acted that person doesn't really know what truly happened and to me, it's an attitude of it is just a part; to me, you have to take an interest of Black History here to know or understand what happened to protray the people of color and be convincing about them to let the audience know that you are that person through and through... like the late actors and actresses of old whom you haven't a clue that they were immigrants of their own country instead of USA and furthermore, didn't act as if they were better either but blended in with the people of color here, and they knew the turmoil and plight here for the people of color, so when they acted like the people of color here, they were convincing that they too belong and one with the people of color here, and are nominated for their role, they represented all the people of color, not just their homeland... but sometimes I feel that it's different, and I can't explain it either. There was a podcast that stated Why Are Black Immigrants Getting Black Americans'Part? One word: Division ➗ of the entertainment industry, and that's why people protested and boycotted because people of color and diversity are ill-treated and tried to divide the diversity of immigrants, especially those who were born and raised here... everyone should be treated equally in that industry, but that industry would chew you up and spit you out if you let it... that is what Jennifer was up against when she was not nominated, but she did it for Althea because Althea asked her and Althea and Jennifer were together until Althea passed away, but it was another person who protrayed Althea too and was nominated for the song at least... but again, that is that division to divide and conquer in the entertainment industry - the invisible hand of deception, disappointment, and distraction and that comes with the territory!! Unfortunately... but good for you to stand up and fight for what you believe is right. Good job!!
