No one in the next 1000 years could sing this song the way Jennifer. She understands each note , it’s just amazing that even Celine Dion’s best effort could not be compared to this masterpiece. There are exceptions but in the majority of cases the original version is best. In this case there is no question. Most soul, most authenticity, most respect for the unadorned and beautiful shape of the melody. Jennifer nailed it.

@@menevamies8095 oh I sure do enjoy. I quit playing at 13 and regretted it for decades. Had a chance to go to The Royal Toronto Conservatory after my last recital from a lady who wanted to pay for a good portion of the cost but our family was flat poor like in happy to have food and shelter. Thanks to help from my daughter and my wife working to make ends meet they got me a Yamaha WC88 stage piano as they understood my passion for music. My wife and I are same age and I have stage 4 COPD and heart issues so getting a part time job is a real hurdle for me but still looking. I’m sure not complaining as I got sole custody of my kids when they were 5 and 10 both doing extremely well and now have great families that help us both in many many ways so God has really blessed me. I try to encourage others to follow their passion and never give up in times of trial. If I help only one person on this walk of life succeed in their passion or lift their spirits and faith then I consider my life a success. Thanks for taking the time to comment. The song has been copied by many, but no one can sing it like you. Your voice is powerful, pure, and with passion. Your technical singing skills are amazing. Your 'audience skills' for presenting and delivering your music to listeners is awesome. Recently I found your Live performance from 1985 at the Rockpop Music Hall on KZfaq. Your performance was so good, that I could not tell any difference in voice quality between Studio and Live. So many artists can't sing Live very well, but you performed expertly. You have also been a role model for other female singers. Some of them still do Covers of your songs. I am wishing you all the best, and thank you for your contributions to Music.
