I'm an old school girl. Grease (royal crown) and water to moisturize. Love the African Pride pre-poo and the Creme of nature coconut shampoo. Gorilla Snot for edge control. Four products that's it!

@liseg89 ...I agree 100%. I actually had to think back to when my mom use to do my hair because the butters and cremes just didn't work. BTW I'm 52 so that was a long time ago. Now my hair have zero breakage and its strong. My low porosity is no longer an issue. 🙌

Thank you! Great detail. Found a few products I might be able to try. I wish I could use Kinky Tresses but most products contain coconut or castor oil. The lady that created that line had an EXTENSIVELY detailed hair video in YT. I couldn't find it after a while but must look for it again. Thank you again!!!

I'm with you that rinse out conditioners do nothing for my natural hair. I've got 4b/4c natural curls and I've always felt that rinse out conditioners do nothing. As for my favourite DC, I'm with you on the TGIN! It's soooo GOOOD!!! =D

❤ I came here to educate myself for my niece. We are Puerto Rican but she’s Afro Latina with type 4b/c hair and unfortunately my sister who also has curly hair just maybe type 3 hasn’t tried to right products. So I’m excited to embark on this journey with my niece to help her achieve the most beautiful natural hair she can have. Thank you please keep posting and for us newbies try to explain what certain terms are I was lost at pre poo😂 I had to think. I’m guessing pre washing right? Finally somebody else who doesn't really use leave in conditioners! They don't do a thing for me either, I've tried so many. I go straight to the creams and sealants and skip leave ins entirely.

Great video, you have introduced me to dome new hairlines. I am interested in the Innate Hair, Mello, and the Imo Naturals. I hope these products are available in the US. Hey Jenn! You are such a boss, thank you for all of your suggestions. I don’t care too much for gels either, but I would definitely suggest The Naturall Club’s Flaxseed yogurt gel! It provided wonderful hold for ny 4c hair while moisturizing and still having bounce and life!

A super moisturizing shampoo is by Mielle's Rosemary Mint Strengthening Shampoo. THIS stuff made me pick it up in the shower to double check to make sure I didn't have conditioner instead of shampoo! I wish I knew it was gonna be so nice for my hair because I would have purchased 2 of them when it was on sale at Walgreens. The deep conditioner was great too. Honestly, my hair almost felt too soft after using these products.

I love the shea moisture act, jbco line. My hair loves it. That's the only line by shea moisture I've ever used. I'm also getting into mielle organics rosemary line

Tiffani W I love the JBCO line as well. If you’re 4c/b like me, I’m mainly 4c with a bit of 4b in it, you’ll love the Rosemary and Mint line. I’m high density but with fine strands, so Im prone to breakage, this line has helped so much with strengthening my hair, the oil has been great at growing out my edges too. The oil and the strengthening mask are my favourites! Best of luck on your hair journey x

@@akuabonsu889 yesss I'm currently grieving my edges with the rosemary mint oil and also a mixture of castor oil and eucalyptus oil...I am 4c thick hair..this is week 2 of being consistent and paying attention to what's working on my edges
