The best way to care for your nendoroid parts is to keep all specific nendoroid parts in their original box. If you are using customisable parts that are not exclusive to a line, you must be very organized in order to not get them mixed up. Other than that, once you have enough, I trust the posing will not be a daily thing, so you will have to choose a favorite pose and have eye candy to look at every day. 😉 Just like any plastic figure, keep them away from sunlight, and make sure room temperature is not excessively hot. If you leave near the coast, I would likely reconsider if collecting is possible, this considering that salt and sand will eventually deteriorate your figures. Dust will eventually find its way into the plastic, so keeping them behind glass or airtight display stand would be ideal. Be careful to always touch with clean hands, and to not over touch if your hands are sweaty, natural skin oils and salt will slowly polish certain parts of the figure, especially over mate paint. If you have long nails, always take your time, and if you are frustrated because you are not getting a pose right, stop, take a 5 min break, and then continue. It's not worth scratching or damaging your figure out of frustration. Never get too comfortable with how you handle the figure. Treat it as delicate as possible, but with assertiveness. It's also very good to have a carpet,rug, or something soft where nendoroid parts could fall. Hard or rough surfaces will absolutely damage the plastic and paint. Do not pose nendoroids in poses that can't handle a slight to medium shake, and always secure them with the nendorid stand. Make sure that parts are not rubbing hard against each other. This will avoid paint rubbing one another and losing its mate finish. Always provide support for posses that may strain other parts to avoid deformities over time. Always take your time when handling it to move or clean. Never have pens, markers, glue, or any type of paint close when handling them, as that could accidentally stain your figures if you are not careful. Place them in a place where they are not going to get in your way of things you use daily or have to pass through that area with disregards to what's there. This will help avoid you having to move them constantly and better yet, not knocking them over. Always choose safety over looks, in my opinion. To clean, you can use a high-pressure air cleaner, like the ones for keyboards. My preferred method when dust is strong is the softest paint brush you can find. That will take care of all the dust, believe me. Also, if you have small dust stains, a microfiber cloth can usually remove it (be gentle) or a cotton ball with a non aggressive plastic cleaner. 😉 Do not over tense the joints as they will break. Not all posses you see are essentially real. Remember, some are computer edited and are not ever going to look exactly like the poses you can achieve with them in real life. If you need to apply too much pressure, chances are you are doing things wrong. Nendoroids require more technique and patience for posing than brute strength. Keep them safe from pets,insects, and other uncareful humans. Excessive humidity will ruin them, so keep them away from water. I hope this little guide helps in some way, I am not an expert, but I have been collecting Nendoroids for over 15 years. Other than that, enjoy collecting and posing.

Nendos are nice desk buddies, my personal fave is Sage of Six Paths Naruto. Watching this while bonking some monster skulls.

I do usually prefer 1/7 or 1/6 scaled figures, but sometimes I buy nendoroids because they are so adorable!

If you bought older nendoroids make sure to take it out of the box to prevent the plasticizer from building up. The plasticizer itself isn't harmful and is easy to clean, but it makes the figure sticky.

Also I would recommend to never buy from resellers if the nendo you want is no longer available in the page, they have ridiculously high prices and also Good Smile company will eventually re release them for the original price, you just need to have a little bit of patience

My tip is to preorder the nendoroids you like since the price can go to a retail price once it’s release date comes. Also, I collect nendoroids since they are cheaper than figmas. I might just move on to buy prize figures but I’m running out of space.

I'm new to this channel! You're a top tier communicator, and have a really expressive / calming voice. I only recently got into this hobby after throwing money on the Miku Deep Sea Figure at an anime convention. That was the gateway drug, and it's only going to go uphill / downhill from here, depending on how you see it. My mom saw some of them and looked at me as if I'm building a barbie doll house (fml). What I like about Nendoroids though is that it doesn't scream barbie dolls if a filthy normie visits, which makes it easier for grown ass men like me to blend in while being a covert weeb. Tasteful. They don't occupy a huge amount of space; they don't end up looking like a shrine on any display setup; and the uniformity of style & dimensions makes them look really clean side by side. If you're OCD like me, and obsessed about theming, or having figures being the same style & dimensions: Nendoroids & Miku figures are two easily achievable areas to get uniformity imo. I'm grateful for all your informative content. I sometimes think I got into this hobby too late, because I can't find most of my favorite anime figures, like Fullmetal Alchemist, Steins Gate, or Toradora Nendoroids :(, but I'm committed to hunting them down (Facebook Marketplace is sometimes promising) or waiting for a re-run. Hello! 1.)I love your videos! They are super informative and interesting, especially the fake vs real nendo videos! I'm sort of new to collecting and have a difficult time telling fakes apart sometimes so those videos really help. 2.) You mentioned Nendoroid care and I'm in no way an expert but I thought this might be important to mention: Older nendos (like pre-1000) tend to have their neck joint already attached to each extra face they come with and thus might not work with the newer nendos. You can take them out of course (though this can break them if not careful) but they still might not fit all that well into new nendos. Newer nendos have the neck joint attached directly to their body instead. Also, older nendos might be sticky or faded due to their age. Over time the plastic of a nendos does degrade (though it takes quite a while), especially if left in the box or in the dark (or both) which can cause them to feel sticky. This issue can be resolved by just washing the pieces gently using dish soap and some water! Sorry for the long comment, I just thought I would mention it...Hope you have a good day/night!

I just started buying them and already got a dozen after looking at virtually every one made, it was a little exhausting admittedly but worth it as I feel I got some of the best including a Kimono Miku, Hifumi, 3 from Witch Academia and Giovanni and Mewtwo as the centerpiece. This is a very interesting video, I am a Nendo collector for almost 2 years, right now I have 12 figures and 12 in pre-order, when I starting collect them my biggest problem was where to get them, I bougth 2 in Ebay but the prices were hight, I tried to buy them trough Good Smile Company but they didn't ship to my country that time becouse of Covid, Hobby Search was a big discover, they don´t have problems if I use a international box for my orders and I can pre order my nendos at the same time that Good Smile Company, of course the cost of the shipping is always a consideration, for that reason I always just buy the nendos i love the most.

i do not normally collect Nendoroids. I only have Renge from "Non Non Biyori" and Serval from "Kemono Friends" and only because I could not find scale figures for them. Since I bought them at conventions, they were kind of an impulse buy. They remain unopened. Watching this presentation I now think I want to open them up and give them a try. Thanks!

If u can’t afford nendoroids a really good alternative is figuarts mini. They don’t have the customization of nendoroids but they are still in a cute chibi style and are usually $20-30 but u can often find them for under $20.

I have 7 Nendoroids (6 female and 1 male) I keep them in a stackable storage box covered in a bubble wraps, I put mini zip lock plastic bags for face plates individually and lastly, I put all the parts and accessories in a container to avoid misplacing it.

For some odd reason, I prefer chibi-styled figures (Nendoroid's & Funko's) to full-sized/scaled figure. My preference just might be biased because the first few figures I got were all Funko but I just feel like they're more space friendly. Anyways I just bought my first ever Nendoroid--Tsurumaru Kuninaga--hopefully, it goes well. (Bought it from Good smile US)

So I have a nendo of Rohan Kishibe from Jojo’s Bizarre adventure, I got it on Solaris, so it should be authentic, but the box says Medicos at the top right corner, it does have good smile’s website url on the side and all of the parts for usual nendos, like the little manual and the cardboard background. Nothing really seems off with him, and Medicos tends to be the main distributor for a lot of Jojo figurines anyway, I wasn’t really sure if that’s normal or not, and honestly I’m still not, so I’d like some input! I would appreciate that a lot!

Quick question why do some character only have just the figma or neondoriod version like the character clarion from the series pandora in the crimson shell: Ghost urn she only has the neondoroid only but I wonder if she will have a figma in the future or are there restrictions for it to happen. Personally, I don't despise them as much as Funkos. Still would never buy one unless it's from Scissor Seven.

I own ONE SINCE THEY ARE SO EXPENSIVE. I was lucky my winnie the pooh was only 30 dollars but, I realized that they are super fragile and little so I just have winnie on display but I play with him sometimes.
