Thank you for a great video tutorial, I’ve been knitting over 60yrs and have never seen a rib cast off like this. I was actually undoing the neck bind off for a new coat for my oldie Shih Tzu girl, I wasn’t happy how ‘tight’ it was when I hit on your tutorial. I Re knit the bind off as you show us and I’m so pleased with it it’s nice and loose. She is deaf, blind and has canine dementia and doesn’t like having things go over her head, she panics. This will be finished tomorrow and I’m expecting a no stress dog coat put on tomorrow 👍😊

This is amazing! I watched a few other (much longer) tutorials more than once and couldn’t get it, but as soon as you explained the yo concept and demonstrated a couple of times, I could do the whole row without double checking I was doing it right! I was able to finish a blanket I started three years ago. Thanks so much!

This is slightly different than how I learned, where I was taught it's important to do a backwards yarnover before the knit stitches; this appears to be a regular yarnover. Curious if it makes a difference and if so how much.

Do you think that maybe working with smaller kneedles might help avoiding the flare?? Thank you!
