The Jeo-Tec No 1 looks too pretty to be either a bushcraft knife or a survival knife. So, is it all show and no go? See for yourself how this thing performed in my standard testing. Get yours on Amazon: amzn.to/39Ko9UF

That exact knife keeps coming up as a suggestion for me on Amazon. I like the looks and love the N690 steel it's made from too. N690's been tough as nails and holds a great edge for me on my camp chopper. Thanks for the look, Bryan. Have a great weekend. PS - If a site has annoying music you can't shut off; right-click on the tab at the top of the window and, depending on which browser you use (Chrome and I think Firefox do, not sure about others), it often gives you the option to "Mute site".

I actually have the cocobolo version in my shopping list on Amazon. Not sure when or even if I'll pull the trigger because I'm trying to save for an LT Wright knife right now, but who knows. Being a knife nut it may still find it's way into my collection. I really do like the look of it. Thanks for showing it to us Bryan!

I looked up the N690c steel. It is a newer super steel with good stainless qualities and is said to have superior edge retention . Its tough and hard. It is harder to sharpen than 440 but will hold the edge. As such the price is pretty good. You would pay that or more for a 1095 steel blade with micarta scales. From where I sit its a bargain. This steel is comparable to Vg10, but most ofter compared to 440c.

Let's not forget the Boker Arbolito line. They are made in Spain as well. I agree, they do make some of the best knives, at least in their price range. You can do better, at from a materials standpoint anyway, if you're willing to shell out another hundred or two on top of the price of these, but not everyone can or is willing to spend $250-$350 for a knife. These Spanish knives are a great value. Good quality at a reasonable price! I also like the fact they aren't made in China. Although there are now some very good knives coming out of China, I choose not to support the oppressive and intellectual property thieving communist regime. Their track record on human rights is appalling.

Nice video 🖖 Some people accept knife as a payment and getting stuff for free is a type of payment, you can search for excuses, like you want but that's the truth. 🙄 In past times it was normal be paid with stuff instead this days with fake federal money. I have no problem with people getting stuff for free but with people they are making than stuff looking better as they are, like fanboys, fangirls, doing it this days. honesty is more important than anything else for me and many other people and the honest people get the most loyal subscribers 🖖 Nice knife 🖖

Hopefully it is because your sentence structure and your grammar is horrendous.

@@KevinSmith-yh6tl my 3th, beside you could try writing stuff with cronical migraine and other chronic pain. 😏 I was never picking on anyone and I wouldn't be subscribed to his channel if I wouldn't like his videos, I mention only that gifts are in fact a way of payment and look in the politics what they get for small favors, every lawyer would say it is a form of payment and many other instances see it the same way, or call it bribery 😏 and I'm happy that this channel, tells anyway the truth about the most reviewed items and not like some other fanboys no matter how bad a product is, they give it 5stars. I think you misunderstood my point. And my English the most times is better than of many people that are born in English speaking country's, and I'm not perfect, also auto correction is often a bitch and I have seen a video wher correct grama is now racist, that's really stupid I think it makes people much more difficult to learn the language properly 😒 🖖 English Grammar is now Racist. 🙄 kzfaq.info/get/bejne/qNRmm7R7rN_XlWg.html

@@tomrobison9690 I know about how the youtubers can keep the knives because I've talked to quite a few of the youtubers on Instagram, because I'm active in the knife hobby community. Once in awhile a company will send a very expensive knife to a reviewer, and make them send it back because it's such an expensive one, but most of the time, they are allowed to keep it.

I would bet our ancestors did the best they could with the tools they had available. We have better material and stronger construction methods than our ancestors. Many modern knives ARE designed to be able to baton the blade. And I have also heard of some “ancestral” cultures which did use the technique for certain tasks.

Still with the ignorant remark of "those of you stuck with the old metric system" ?!?! I wonder how many other odd things you say in your videos. Ok, again, and I think this is the fourth time I say this, there are only three countries in the world - the U.S., Liberia, and Myanmar - still stick to the imperial system, which uses distances, weight, height or area measurements that can ultimately be traced back to body parts or everyday items. Other than in the metric system these units are not easily divisible in parts of hundreds or thousands and are therefore thought to be inferior to those in the metric system by some. Critics of the metric system which was created for easy reference are just hard-headed fools. The U.S. is the only real stronghold of the imperial system in the world to-date. There you have it, it's your choice to keep saying that ignorant remark and it doesn't make you look good or wise.
