About Somi's background: She is an former JYP trainee, in 2015 she appeared in Sixteen, the reality wich formed TWICE (she is close to the girls), 2016 she participated in Produce 101 and ranked 1, she debuted in I.O.I as maknae. In 2017 they disband and she decided to moved on to THE BLACKLABEL and debuted again, now as a soloist, in 2019 with the single "Birthday". As you noticed, she appeared a lot on the TV (+her dad is a famous actor) and became one of the most popular idols in the industry (as a tv personality). There is more and more about her, but I can't explain more hahah. You should check out her, she is amazing and a Social butterfly, everyone loves her.

The scene in the middle of the music video where black-haired Somi and the crew demonstrate martial arts as a group is not 'Kung Fu' but 'Taekwondo'. 'Taekwondo' is a sport based on the traditional martial arts unique to South Korea.

Her first M/V is called ‘Birthday’ she was in YG’s doghouse because she accidentally stepped into the studio while BlackPink was recording a song! JEON SOMI's mother is Korean and father is Dutch-Canadian. She participated in SIXTEEN and PRODUCE 101. She won the 1st place in produce 101. She was in a girl group called 'I.O.I'. She was supposed to debut with ITZY but she was replaced with YUNA. She has friends in different groups like TWICE, AB6IX, CLC and BLACKPINK. She has a black belt in taekwondo. She debuted in 2019 with 'BIRTHDAY' M/V.
