Johnson’s the first PM to receive a police conviction in office, there was more than 110 recorded lockdown offenses recorded in his office/residence , the 40 resignations from his government were the most in any Government plus many more instances of incompetence during his time in Public services, the day after his resignation the daily Mails front page and the four pages following it heaped enormous praise on Johnson and called for his return as Prime Minister, manipulation on a grand scale !

Not surprising given the following published statement The ambit of that Act is limited to persons holding a “public office” which is a term defined by Section 2 of the Act. The definition of “public office” expressly excludes members of either House of the Oireachtas”. Fine Gael on behalf of L Vradakar November 2020

I can not imagine a British PM getting such a funeral as Martin McGuiness got. The number of diplomat s and politicians attending was truly exceptional. Certainly the Milk Snatchers funeral pales into insignificance when comparing the 2, even though the latter's funeral was a full state funeral.
