Since Micheal Martin said those words: we want nothing to do with the backward idea of sovereignty we are committed to the European ideal.... since then FF shot itself losing the title of Republican party

You speak of ff,fg of treason and treachery-amateurs compared to sf but anyway you believe otherwise!! Would you jail any sf politician ? Sorry to hear you supported them and for so long. They benefit no one but themselves ,they've relied on cruel cute hoorism and FF probably more than anyone else sought donations outside churches in rural Ireland. Any party looking for party donations at a mass is absolutely repugnant and so is the parish pump culture here. Totally antiquated

Ireland has come along way in the last fifty years alone and is a modern democracy Yes it could be better, there are social problems but a million miles away from my parents and their parents generation On the whole Irish Politicians are infinitely more honest than their English counterparts, there are exceptions, of course there are Conservative Politicians do not prosper a nation just maintain the status quo, that's all in order for Politicians to prosper and grow a Nation they must be radical and push boundaries
