***** People just need time to adjust to what he can do. Atm mostly players play him that are very good with him, nobody has a clue what to do though. After a while it will get more even though i think he is a lil bit too strong atm.

Seems like building tanky and getting a veil to boost your ult damage and keep you alive long enough to put stones down to keep the ult going until enemy dies is a pretty solid idea

Nearly 1 year ceremony of this vid ,can't say how much I appreciate Lord Jerax and Noobfromua for making these play and this video, this is when I become a ES player. And after the nerf ES is still a pretty decent hero if you play him right.

He's been around for a long time on DotA why would he suddenly become OP in Dota 2 ? It's just that people on Dota 2 are not yet used to play against him, they said the same when OD came out

He's only OP in the right hands. He requires a bit of skill and practice to be good at, and unfortunately he doesn't scale very well into the late game.

Silence him and he's a sitting duck. No seriously silence him, he's nothing without his low cooldown spells. And if that don't work? Stun him. He's a carry after all, so take that in mind when you judge his balance.

item independant? check good stun? check long silence? check slow? check strong aoe damage ult? check free forcestaff? check mana issues easily solved? check not too squishy? check ranged? ... nope, well i suppose that makes this hero perfectly balanced then, job well done xD

1 second stun, weak silence, damage over time, mana issues aren't solved easily (Bloodstone ~5k gold)

WuWei Xu Are we talking about the same hero? Earth Spirit has a 2,5 second stun with 1400 range, a 5 second silence that can spread to the entire enemy team regardless of the initial AoE, making it one of the best silences in the game, he doesn't have mana issues at all due to low costs - Arcane Boots and Urn can get him through the entire game.

WuWei Xu Hold on, 1 second stun is level 1, it's 2.5 at end. Also 5 seconds is not a weak silence, especially since it allows placement of a rock to get said stun. And this isn't even considering his ultimate.

fun fact: for those who wondering how broken he was back then..ES was added to dota2 in patch 6.78 and in patch 6.86, he was added to captain's mode... they have to tweak his skillset for 2 years before they get it right and balanced enough for pro scene
