Been a mechanic for over 50 years. The best tool box to buy is a cabinet made by Stanley Vidmar or Lista. You can order these in any size and in any drawer combination. A lot stronger than any toolbox made today!

Very good video Jered! I enjoyed your comparing the two tool box brands, as I may need to make the same purchase this spring. I can imagine your "revolving door of tools", as you have many people with projects around the farm. It must be hard to keep it stocked. You have a nice selection of good quality tools there, without being sucked into the vortex of a tool truck. your delivery of the information was clear and well thought out, and your presentation was easy to watch. Wow. Thanks, that toolbox review is very informative and super useful. I'm always thinking of tool storage. I now have my wrenches, mostly hanging on a board above my bench. I'm thinking of attaching a backboard to a box like that and hanging my wrenches. Keep drawers for sockets, ratchets, and specialty wrenches. Right now, on my wrench hanging wall. I keep two wrenches of each size on each pin (nail) Great video Jared would love to see more content from you. Love this channel

Good review of a tool box. I've worked as a diesel mechanic for over 35 years and you hit a lot of good points. I have a black tool box too and honestly now that I'm older I wish I had a lighter color because you do not see what you have in the drawer. Put a bright light over your new tool box. Keep up the good work!

Jered you did a GREAT JOB on your 1st video. Next time you tear into an engine you should do a time laps, would be another Great video.

I've never heard Jared say more than two sentences and I usually can't hear him anyway, so this was great. And timely. I'm on the hunt for a new box myself and for my use I actually can make good use of the shorter (?) (not so depthy) drawers. But Jared's in-depth look at the HF box was very helpful and very timely for me. He's right about other YT reviewers; bless their hearts but they don't really tell me anything useful about boxes. He did forget to repeat himself, like Andy, but he's still learning. Sometimes I've been drinking and repeating is a good thing. Many thanks.

Great feedback on how you can actually use the box. Most videos people make on the harbor freight stuff doesn’t tell you anything. I have a series 2 56” and can’t find a place to put any of my large metric and standard wrenches.

Great job Jered. I liked the milwaukee with the top shelf then saw the drawers. I wanted a husky but for the price I paid 2 years ago with HF CC and inside track club I bought a series 2 72" with 56" top. NOW as an old guy we've come a long way from what I had even 25/30 years ago. Gripe on my series 2 is the top drawer doesn't pull out far enough and only has a stop on the right side. I'm going to figure that out later. You'll fill the spaces in those drawers in a wek or 2. Again Great Job!

We've seen the Stor-Loc modular toolboxes and configured a couple for our shop. Nice wide & deep drawers. Not cheap, but worth it.
