One of the most influential voices in comedy, Jerrod Carmichael is set to host the 80th Annual Golden Globe® Awards.
The three-hour telecast serves as the official kickoff to the 2023 awards season and will air live coast-to-coast on Tuesday, January 10, 2023 at 8 p.m. ET/5 p.m. PT from The Beverly Hilton in Beverly Hills, California, on NBC and Peacock.
The Golden Globe Awards is one of the biggest nights on the calendar for live viewing. It's also one of the few awards shows that combines the honorees of both film and television.
Produced by Dick Clark Productions and Jesse Collins Entertainment in association with the HFPA, the Golden Globe Awards are viewed in more than 210 territories worldwide. Helen Hoehne is president of the HFPA. Jesse Collins and Dionne Harmon will serve as executive producers.

It’s crazy that he thought his career was over towards the end of shameless. I always thought his acting was incredible on the show and knew he was going places. This is so well deserved

I’m so so happy he won this!! He’s an insanely incredible actor and has so much talent. Shameless is one of my favorite shows and Lip’s my favorite character because of how well Jeremy plays him. I’m so glad he’s finally getting the recognition he deserves!!

you could tell by his emotions how happy he is, the crack in his voice holding back tears. reminded me of Lip from shameless, jeremy allen white is indeed a great actor

The bear is fuckin fantastic. I gobbled it up in a day. What emotion! I laughed, cried, chewed my nails in anxiety as orders came pouring in. A real ode to service industry, and the shedding of self that happens when waiting on others

I always thought he was one of the strongest, if not THE strongest, actor in Shameless. I'm so glad he's getting recognition and roles, he's so damn talented.
