James was right, the E60 not only sold better, but also looks so much more modern compared to the S type, and E class.

According to you, sure. But to call them stale is frankly absurd, considering the engine options which ranged from a great sounding straight 6, to the glories V10 found in the M5/M6.
@ZombieByte6 жыл бұрын
ya a way to not be stale is to offer different engines for all of their IDENTICAL MODELS, be honest without any badges it would be impossible to distinguish a 328i from an m3 or an e90 or m5 that's like the definition of stale. also as a mechanic i can tell you that a BMW is the worst car to own, they require maintenence every 1200 miles, yes 1200 not 12,000 and even small insignificant parts cost an absurd amount to replace. and don't even get me started on the stupid ass i8 with it's ridiculous wannabe super car aero and engine smaller and less powerful than a prius.
@Kofi_Mensahs_BurnerAccount6 жыл бұрын
Benjamin Friedman look back at the E60 in 20 years and you'll be able to make your mind up about what was ugly to you and what truly is ugly. E60 was a classic BMW masterpiece and will forever remain one of the best cars ever produced.
@abec6665 жыл бұрын
ZombieByte If you cannot distinguish an M3 out of a 328 or a 525 from an M5 youre in the wrong channel.
@ZombieByte5 жыл бұрын
Abec777 anyone can distinguish them close up by looking at their badges, my point is that from a distance if you cant see any of the badges they are nearly identical which is something that makes bmw a very stale and boring car company

Not really. It kind of reminds me of the pictures from 1960s that predict how the world would look like in 2000s. It has some innovative technology, but mostly everything still looks like it's from the 60s. And everything else is just funky and ridiculous. It's like putting some neon lights and computers on a Countach and calling it a space shuttle. Surely it looks like one but it's still a 30 year old car.
@reinodjanghardt86046 жыл бұрын
Jan Vehmanen Yeah, except it looks just like any new car. Blobby. Blobs are all blobs.
@habdman4 жыл бұрын
For me not really, I mean it's got shit ton of chrome, obviously very 2000-ish, the speedometer and tach are some 3d shaped hd thing which is also 2000-ish, also some details from the exterior make it look like every other concept car from the era Other examples: honda hsc, range rover stormer, hyundai ssc, toyota motor triathlon, and more

E220 CDI (47.000 km - 480.000 km), E270 CDI(97.800 km - 410.000 km), E320 CDI x2(1x: 25.500 km - 517.000 km, 1x 45.000 km - 487.000 km), E350 4Matic Petrol (150.000 km - 410.000 km), E55 AMG (77.000 km - 199.000 km)... And a 2008 R320 CDI (47.000 km - 525.000 km) Didn't really leave the entire wage at the shop...
