Ok so my half sister is light skinned but she’s more on the passing for white then black even though her skin is clearly black. She just looks like a pale black person if that makes sense 😂 anyways she gave me this lotion to use on my face without realizing that it was a self tanner we both thought it was just like a serum effect where over time your skin will glow well in her case it did but for me my face is now darker than my neck. As I only applied to my face. I absolutely love this product despite the mishap but my face is still glowing. I do recommend using a sunscreen underneath though just because it is a self tanner and you do want to protect your face as much as possible from any harmful sun impact plus the tanner.

That was my mom favorite brand of lotion to use growing up (jergens). But we only use the body lotion.

I agree its not the best after showering it was patchy, so i tried not to exfoiate whole wearing it, also the bruising is cause u put to much in one spot or your skin was dry in the one spot and absorbed more of the product
