@RetroBleck
@RetroBleck 16 күн бұрын
For anyone that even cares remotely, Insaniquarium was actually a fairly well known and relatively good (especially as a flash game existing online) game on the internet back in the 2000s (For me it was 2005-2007). Found out about it from others at school. It also was relevant for a few years and it didn't die out fast. I didn't find out about Jerma until the Grab That Auto video, but I'm sure quite a lot of people in his viewer wheelhouse knew what insaniquarium was at the time. Edit: Well I looked it up and seen it actually continued a pretty big life after the 2000s, getting upgrades and re-releases on some platforms. Has a collective 10/10 on Steam at the moment.

It's funny how Jerma is obviously a little nervous and unsure about the whole video commentary thing in his first video, and then like 3 videos in he just went complete performance mode and decided to speak like an old man for an entire video. Not only that but it actually worked, people instantly connected with him and it was the first "bit," he was known for in any capacity.

I remember in 2010 I started playing TF2 and I absolutely sucked. And for a year I was just getting trounced every time I even attempted to play. I had just about given up but I decided to get on youtube and look up some guides to play my favorite class the Engineer. That's when I found Jerma's gameplay videos and I was locked in. He was goofy and funny and just a great speaker. He didn't do a lot of 'This is how you play' it was more of the 'Hey come sit down and let's play together.' energy. His fun attitude made me smile and it gave me the courage to keep trying. 13 years later I still play TF2 (off and on) and I still suck. Thanks Jerma for all the great memories and laughs. Especially when he died to Pinwheel.

Please continue making these. Such a great view into the beginnings of Jerma. I certainty would love to see a compliation of his third and fourth year on youtube. Definitely some of his best on his original channel.
