This is a run-through of my new Jerry amp setup. The guitar is a 1980s MIJ Strat, which is the only guitar I had handy to record the video. I'll make another video at some point playing my custom Garcia style Strat through it. For now, expect some more early 70s-esque tones.
The setup is a Sarno Music Classic Tube Preamp with the optional Jerry Modifications (basically a Twin Reverb in a rack-mountable unit-it only weighs about 5 pounds!), a McIntosh MC 2150 Power Amp (a little under 400 of them were produced in the mid 80s-it weighs about 60 pounds), into a Hard Trucker style cabinet with two Weber California speakers.
Until I play my proper guitar through the rig, I won't make a judgement on how the Webers sound compared to Jerry's tone with JBLs.
Recorded through an Audio Technica vocal microphone (again, it was all I had handy to make this video).
