I have a 2 woofer cab,that a gd board member said was a proto type for the wall of sound,it’s painted green on face like Phil’s early .rack.

Nice Mik. I just found you interviewing Rick Turner and this came up. Good history and a great demo of Travis Beans innovative reach. In that little slice of 79 80, Rick and Travis went worldwide together [along with Taylor, Larrivee, Augustino LoPrinzi, Bartolini, and Furman], in the high line distribution network of Paul Rothchild. As most have passed on, I commend you for your retaining this sweet history.

Nice. I have one of the cabinets used by the JGB, its behind Jerry in a lot of the Cats Under the Stars pictures.

I've often wondered where all those cabinets went. I've only seen 1 come up for sale here in Marin. It wasn't 100% confirmed to be a 'wall of sound' cab and the price was really high so I didn't check it out.

Is the 2.6 impedance an issue with a mac amp? I want to do the same thing and build a 3x12 but dont know what to do about the impedance!! Any insight you can give me!!

I have wondered about that. If you have three 16 ohm drivers in parallel you have a 5.3 ohm load which would be fine. But then what if you want 2 3x12 cabs. Or even three?
