Follow this:
1. Take off the screen module using thin metal blade (slowly, You can help with a drop of isopropanol)
2. Remove Face ID module on the top and back metal cover of LCD (don't mistake the screws!)
3. Cut the frame on the top and take it off on the sides (heat the screen for 100*C)
4. Cut off the glass with 0.04 molybdenum wire
5. Clean the rest of glue with rotating wire or using yours fingers (still heating the LCD)
6. Precisely clean the screen with isopropanol and anti dust wipe
7. Gently connect the screen with new glass (if You don't have glass with OCA glue, You have to put it on the glass by yourself)
8. Laminate on the polyuretan mat on 4bar and 50*C
9. Then autoclave in 50*C for 10 minutes
10. Mount the screen module again
Can't use LOCA glue in this model!!! You will destroy backlight on LCD. You can use LOCA on iPhone 11 Pro and 11 Pro Max (OLED screens)

Dobrze widzę ze dolną część ramki zostawiasz przed wycinaniem ? Mam właśnie problem z usunięciem dolnej części ramki bo łatwo uszkodzić wyświetlacz .

bro how come your screen didnt damage when you took the frame off like that? i did the same thing and when i tried to turn it on it showed a black screen and malfunction in both bottom corners as i broke the frame there.

Hi Jerry and guests, can someone please tell me if it's possible to replace a glass like Jerry just did and do a Good job without all machines Jerry used, I simply cannot afford to buy a perfect iPhone at the moment, a job and money is scarce so I was thinking of buying a damaged cheaper iPhone and hopefully repairing it, I'm quite desperate for a phone and if it was possible to replace a glass as Jerry did that would be amazing. Any tips or advice would be really appreciated, thankyou in advance, great repair and great video thankyou very much.

I wouldn't recommend it. I am trying to learn this and I broke the screen on my first attempt while trying to get the frame off. Why not get a cheap knock off replacement screen? You will have slightly less saturated colors and you will get the "important display message" every time you start your phone, but it will work perfectly fine

@Marty Mc De Thankyou so much for your kind advice, I agree it looks difficult and no doubt something can easily go wrong as there so fragile, I wouldn't dream of it normally but it just comes down to having very little money at the moment. Did you manage to nip it in the bud eventually or did you not bother trying to do another fix your self, it would be brilliant if there was a way to practice etc, thanks again.

This iphone 11 glass replacement is harder than doing the iphone 13 pro/pro max and 14 series purely because you have to remove the frame from the glass before glass seperation so becareful if you attempt this repair

Hello thank you for your replies 😁Ive practiced removing the glass on some old iPhone 11 screens. Each time I seem to damage the LCD despite cutting it perfectly with the wire. Could I be damaging the LCD flex at the bottom when I remove the metal frame? I see you didn't remove it in the video until 7:41. Is it better to remove it later when its more pliable? Thanks

@@ridu9976 Yes you have to leave the heat on. I find around 80 deg works for me. You need to make sure you get the wire beneath the touch layer to start with otherwise you will be removing the touch layer aswell.

Generalnie każdy ekran da się zrobić na LOCA, lecz w przypadku ekranów lcd, tft, ips (czyli wszystkich oprócz oled) trzeba odklejać podświetlanie z tyłu wyświetlacza ponieważ loca narobi na nich plam. Mając sprzęt do regeneracji jest łatwiej i czyściej 😁

a jeszcze mam pytanie, przy wymianie całego ekranu, jak pozbywasz się komunikatu o zmienionym wyświetlaczu? wiem, że można przelutowac czip z oryginalnego wyświetlacza, jeśli to też robicie, można liczyć na filmik? :p
