Why didnt you cast Wrath in that first game ? You had 2 stored energies, could have played X=0 and wiped the board, or am I wrong ?

a friend of mine showed me this. had to watch it cause i've been secretly running energy since kaladesh remastered. once i saw this set I started spamming the upgrades in my jund deck. i was sitting on an 80 percent win rate for a while

I would think it would be better in bo1 but I havent been playing bo1 to know. "pretty unlucky" have you considered not keeping one landers? skill issue between that and somehow missing that you can cast the wrath for x=0

Yeah sometimes I make mistakes. I record videos late at night and miss things sometimes. It's hard playing and recording. As far as skill issue, I finish most seasons top 250. I must not be that bad

im playing a similar build in historic rn too, and ive ran into a problem I wonder if you have encountered. Im playing a Karn sideboard, and whenever i tutor up Pithing Needle and play it, my game ALWAYS crashes and by the time i reconnect ive used up all times and it names fortify

That's a really weird bug, I'd definitely log a ticket...and stop playing that in the mean time

@griffinMTG it's a shame because it does shut down some good stuff in historic, and it's ANY needle like effect. I tried spyglass and it does the same thing. A shame, I'll have to find something then

I've been running Jeskai Wizards to beat down on all of the aggressive decks, 4x Tamiyo, Snapcaster, Flame of Anor. Curve tops out at 3 with the exception of escaping Phlage to get all of the interaction online as quick as possible. Cleared the metagame challenge with it pretty handily, and so far, the match I've come closest to losing was colorless Eldrazi with Cavern of Souls

@@griffinMTG My build was definitely slower and very controlling. I used Jeskai instead of Izzet to get access to Reprieve, Energy wrath, Phlage, No More Lies, Path, and UW manland.
