(Some back story: I have this old recliner that I tried to paint blue once, and this process infuriated/fascinated my little corner of the internet, so now I'm asking great artists if they wanna sit in it/on it/beside it and play some great music for my channel every once in a while.)
I asked Jesse to sing the title track from his new album, "Countin' the Miles," all about the joy and sacrifice of living life on the road as a musician. Jesse hails from California, but now lives in Austin, TX, and he has a penchant for preserving the traditions of great country music.

@@randymusic69 I have five months of notes on everything I haven't talked about and want to. Been a weird but great year! Making the vast majority of my living away from KZfaq lately, which might finally afford me the ability to get an actual streamlined process of getting more KZfaq done. That's the goal this summer! But if you want my main Ernest thought, it's that I love "Honky Tonk Fairytale."

@@GradySmithYES DUDE, that’s my favorite song on the album, especially the part where he says “ if I drink all this bourbon, it’ll either stop the hurting or I’ll get to stay forever there this time”. That hits hard

Love Jesse Daniel. Still hoping you'll do a bluegrass video at some point. Bluegrass Today is really good for keeping up to date with all the new stuff if you need any inspiration. I find it fascinating how such a tried and tested genre still produces amazing new music

Hey, great idea! I know it's a first time, but I think multiple camera angles would make it more fun to watch. And I've got another idea: why not put that blue chair in different settings (indoor or outdoor)? It'd be fun and it'd make the videos more varied.
