For his second song in the blue chair, I asked Jesse Daniel to sing my favorite song of his, "Gray," about asking a loved one wrestling with addiction to consider his own value in the world. This is from Jesse's album "Beyond These Walls" and such a stunning tune. Jesse hails from California, but now lives in Austin, TX, and he has a penchant for preserving the traditions of great country music.

I asked Jesse to play “Gray” cuz it’s my all time favorite song by him. A super powerful tune. I talked about it a few years back, and I’m proud to have a version live here on the channel.
