Jesse Glover seminar where he illustrates strikes, sticking hands and correct foot placing.
Jesse Raymond Glover was Bruce Lee's first student and first assistant instructor in the United States. He met Lee in 1959 at Edison High School and taught Lee judo. Jesse Glover started a Gungfu class, Leroy Garcia and James DeMile came and assisted him, which was the first ever independent Jun Fan arts related class. Jesse Glover was the first authorized martial arts instructor to be trained by Bruce Lee. He has developed his own method which he calls Non-Classical GungFu.

Not many people knew how good this man was - just mostly he was Bruce's first student - this guy learned intently - and after Lee left Seattle - he went on to study, develop, and dig deeper into the arts.

Same until I realized that trapping movements made more sense utilized to clear the attack line and bridge into Grappling movements.

I disagree. He teaches like he was taught and nothing more. Efficiency is anything that scores. - Bruce Lee Score with striking or grappling Without Prejudice.

No he wasn't. He gave my the the stink eye once because she was filming him without his knowledge only because the host told her to, she looked at me and I said can't help babe, he'll kick everybody's a$$ in this room. LOL

He was fine with it, we were there for hours chatting, and interviewing him, generally filming the class, having lunch and so on. Filming with him on that occasion was one of my most memorable days with a great martial artist and fine man. RIP Jesse.

@@worldofmartialartstelevision man, I can only IMAGINE how u felt having the privilege to record Jesse. And I would like to say "thank you" for giving us a view of a true legend in action of teaching. That's a blessing. While watching, even when he was showing his students how to correctly punch he was fast! Effortlessly! This was amazing. R.I.P. Mr Glover
