This is wonderful news, finding out that Jesse is still alive after getting shot over 20 years ago now. He has an interesting way of keeping his car, I bet after the drive by, Johnny Tran felt bad and didn't bother to go and collect the Jetta.

Yeah considering all he has to say about the reunion is that Chad seemed "into it" doesn't seem like he was super down with it. Also I think it's a bit disingenuous to title the video "we reunited jesse and his jetta" when thatdudeinblue didn't do shit. He was a guest like Chad was and more to the point the reunion was covered in 30 seconds whereas the rest of the video is this guy talking about driving other people's cars.

I live about a half mile away from where Pauls' crash was. I make frequent walks by there alone.. and get to see all the trinkets and things people leave behind at the tree stump. It's great to see how many people are still celebrating his life every year and hearing about all these different memorial drives. Awesome video! R.I.P Paul

@@emmanuellehuu8818 Obviously, i was joking on the comment, but really southamerican roads are DANGEROUS, here near my house (i live in argentina's pampa countryside) the main road (route 33) has potholes that are a whole hand deep and the pavement it's just disintegrating. You have to go at the wrong side of the road to avoid them (one road with two lanes), so yeah.

It’s amazing to see a video about it , the track that the event took place unfortunately got shut down and demolished due to noise complaints . I live 20 minutes from the track and have had nothing but good memories. Was great seeing you all I’ll never forget it!

I live in Quebec and the track that closed down is called "Autodrome St-Eustache"... wich is basically where I learned all my driving techniques. I've been driving there for almost 8-9 years until the city decided to close it because of noise complaints. Hearing from it in your video got me nostalgic

I like that your giving the little guys a voice. I like seeing people still building in their difficult environment. No everyone can afford a big budget build, but almost anyone can build a car that fun & cool to them. I remember before the huge drifting craze, 86 Corolla GT-S's were some of the most fun cheap cars you could get. Short wheelbase with low weight is just a recipe for smiles. Keep up the good work.

Some info on the track, yes it closed but the family that was running it sold it to the city and the close it down to build some apartments and other stuff, it was sad to see this track closed..

My Friend Jessy passed away a decade ago. This Jetta was his first car and started to modify it before he died. Car culture has been such a huge part of our lives. Just bought my next sports car and parts already inbound lol my friends memory keeps me driving on. I’ve even been lucky enough to help another buddy engine swap/rebuild his VR6 over four times! Have even owned a MKV Jetta myself.

It's nice to see my home turf get some recognition for how rough it is to be a car guy in the Quebec. Where every track is getting shut down either from falling apart due to lack maintenance or just because people living around the racing complex keep complaining about the noise. And they still wonder why younger folks do some sort of street racing here...

@@djbazs I’m from metro Detroit, spent 4 days driving around Montreal and parts of Quebec and the roads in Detroit are still a lot worse, also was nice that they actually plow roads for the most part very well. Way less potholes, lots of patches but at least they’re flat

😬 my group of friends in the early 2000's in Seattle area actually had a modded Ford Probe, modded cougar (not the cool ones), modded Ford Escort, modded Thunderbird (again, not the cool ones lol).

Back in 01-07 I had a 94 Ford Probe GT with the J-spec KLZE engine swapped. My buddy Eric had a gutted 95 Probe GT with a T3/T04 turbo and would keep up with Mustangs and F-Bodies. Lets not forget back in the early 00s running 12s was quite the achievement if you didn't drive something domestic...They are great little cars that drive and sound awesome. Different times to todays 1500HP R35s. We were more then happy with 300hp lol
