Jessi is actually still an American citizen .. Jersey girl. It's funny because she's been living in Korea for like 20 years and her Korean is still broken 😆. She breaks all the stereotypes of a K-pop idol/female entertainer in Korea.

Jessi started as a singer, and she is INCREDIBLE, she then becomes a rapper and got famous in a show called Unpretty Rapstar, it is an all female rapper show battling with each other. And oh boy, I didn't know that I can still fall harder than I already was after watching the show. She is a badass, a QUEEN✨👑

In addition to the songs she does in this you’ll want to listen to Coldblooded and her ft on PSY’s GANJI and KANGDANIEL’s Don’t Tell. She also did a one time thing for charity as a member of a group called the Refund Sisters with Hwasa and two others called Don’t Touch Me. It’s super cool because each of the four women in the group are from different generations of k-pop with on member being each in their 50/40/30/20s

I love singing Jessi. I love rapping Jessi. I love the variety personality Jessi. She's always so real, so honest. It was some time back but i rmbr watching FO squad (yt content) enjoying her concert n then later she introduced them to korean bbq. Enjoying a meal together, like a bunch of friends. You mentioned island vibes in one of the songs. That's the cue for me to 🙏 ask for you to check out 🎉 Winner's Killing Voice 🎉. My favourite 3rd gen bg. All their songs are BOPS. They don't have as large an intentional following as they SHOULD but they are sooo loved in SK. They are known as summer kings, kings of festivals. Main vocalist Kang Seungyoon is a literal King. He had won the King of Masked Singers show a record no of 6 times as an idol & youngest King on the show. I'd love for you to watch their Killing Voice. I NEED to know how you'll stay seated throughout 😂
