I think around season 2 of newly weds is when the marriage was showing signs of trouble. She was gone out of town alot and nick was at home lonely.

She made a mistake, she should have stayed with nick. she was peaking in fame right around the time of the divorce and I think she was partying with those guys from jack ass when they all filmed dukes of hazard together. and I think something happened when she was partying with them, but she never told nick, and, also, I think deep down she felt hurt by nick, you can see it on their newlyweds show he would act jerky to her, and I think that was the main reason for the divorce, she divorced him. I personally think she is better with Eric and nick is better with Vanessa. When you watch newlyweds, Jess and nick are constantly annoying each other and they don’t seem to mesh well with point of view and daily living basic stuff, just how they look at things, basic stuff where you would want to match, little stuff that can cause friction. But even though I think she is a better match with Eric, I still don’t think she should have divorced nick for anything less than infidelity or him hitting her. I think people are too quick to divorce now days. I’d give my left nut to know in her own words why she divorced him. I really think she made some sort of mistake, because very very quickly afterwards, she plummeted in fame and in her personal life, and it wasn’t even the same girl anymore up there. I like her with Eric, I just want to see her get healed and get back to her old self. And sing well, again. My prayer for her. Poor girl.
