I got married at 20. I'll be turning 29 soon. We're still great. We just bought our first house. We have 3 kids. The only thing is I definitely dont feel young in some ways. The choices I've made have made my 20s go by so fast. I believe it's the kids not the marriage that made the years go by so fast. They grow so quick it makes time fly. I wouldnt make any different choices though. My life is incredible. I am blessed with my husband and children. I dont think age is what particularly matters. It's maturity. You have to marry for more than just love. Because love isn't enough. They got married and invited cameras into their home right away. Nick wanted someone more traditional. Jessica was very messy. It was like he was parenting her more than being her equal. She didnt need to be parented. He just didnt like things about her that he considered flaws. He was always rolling his eyes at her ditzyness. I have ditzy moments my husband finds it cute or at times just funny. Nick made her feel bad. Sometimes people just dont belong and they figure that out at all ages. I know many people getting married in their 30s then divorcing under 5 years. Shit falls apart at all ages.

RebeccaLynn I was thinking maybe they wanted her from all the hype around dukes of hazard but...the notebook came out a year before DOH and I don’t really think she had any successful movie roles prior to DOH. Depending on when the actual movies were filmed it could have still been the reason. But honestly I don’t really see her as a flexible actress. She’s kind of got to be a stereotypical blonde role...I can’t really see her as anything else. Whereas Rachel mcadams is such a great character actress. Like it’s crazy that she was Allie and Regina George...but she did such a good job convincing me she was both. I just don’t think Jessica Simpson has that kind of ability.

Botox wouldn’t do that unless you’re taking shots to the eyeballs and vocal cords. The only other female celebrity I can think of that is looking much the same as Jessica is Leah Remini. Also an admitted heavy drinker and who knows what else. Maybe it is medications to cut through the alcohol addiction.
