I used to wish her and Nick would find themselves back together but after finishing this book, I believe she’s truly right where she needs to be. She’s the definition of a beautiful person inside and out.

I respect Jessica on so many levels... She worked behind the scenes in Fashion without having to make public appearances... Has the highest grossing celebrity clothing line.. She did this while going through her darkest times and now she's healed and letting us all in... She went through her shit privately and not acting out on social media and publicly!!! Bravo Jessica!!!

I really can't wait until one of these interviewers ask J about her CURRENT husband, and how he dealt with her during all of this, how he supported her, etc., instead of bringing up all the old flames that have been gone for years...

What a beautiful soul. She has definitely matured. She seems kind, warm and caring. I’m thrilled to see her happy. I hope she continues down this path. I don’t believe she is “drunk or high”. She speaks with purpose and her choice of words is very thought provoking. I don’t believe that someone who is “drunk” would be able to do this. Let her be happy.

I don’t know why people say she’s talking strange. She’s always talked this way. Her voice just sounds older (and not in a bad way).

As recovering addict myself... others think I'm still using because my drug use has slowed my brain quite a bit... I have my intelligence intact but I'm slower with speaking and reacting to questions and stuff. I don't believe she's on anything but it's just the residual aftereffects of her substance abuse. The brain takes quite a while to heal from being altered so much and then losing that source of dependency. It will take time for it to heal completely. Over time my "quick wit" is returning but it's frustrating when I fail to react and then I'm accused lol I do a drug test often to prove my naysayers 😊 much love and support to Jessica!

This interviewer knows how to do her job, shes compassionate and not judgmental. Give her more interviews. Great job, Jessica seems so sweet and down to earth. I'm glad she got help

Jessica did seem nervous in the beginning talking but later on she loosens up and is more like herself. So before you judge watch the entire video. I’ve watched her other interviews and in this one, she seems to be talking slower and stumbling on her words but that doesn’t mean she’s drinking. She’s been open about struggling with anxiety and depression, and I’m sure coming out to the world about everything she has been through is hard. Let’s support her and not tear her down.

I went through sexual abuse at an early age. I didn't tell my parents until I was about 15. It was after the perp was out of our lives. My dad was in law enforcement, & I remember my mom saying one time, if he ever found out anyone had touched his kids, he would kill them. So as a little child, I was afraid to tell, because I would afraid my dad would kill them & go to prison. I can totally relate to protecting the family.

Folks, she has always talked like that. Stop the hate! This women is a true boss!

It’s an accented drawl. I’m sure she can have relapses but it’s her form of speech... an unusual way of talking. She’s always spoken this way...aside from her drinking.

She is the epitome of how to bounce back, from mistakes, and be honest enough, if you have some kind of demon, to say, “I need help”, and Thank you Jessica Simpson, I will never touch cigarettes, drugs or drink alcohol EVER. PERIOD. And let’s be happy for her, instead of making fun of her, as someone that confronts problems, and defeats them, with help of course. And from the time, she was coming up, at the same time as Britney, Nicole, Christina, I can definitely, tell that she was mismanaged, pushed too hard to be something that she wasn’t, and things would have worked out better with letting her be herself, but as my gramma used to say, it is what it is...” again, I’m proud of you Jessica... ;)

My cousin has Friedreich's ataxia and talks like this, so the people saying she’s drunk or on something need to learn there are diseases that can cause impaired speech as well as antidepressants, and quit thinking the worse of someone who is trying to do the best they can.

Man you got to give her props for overcoming all that she has been through. She is and was one of the most beautiful women in this world and she had so much fame and everything she did was on display for the world to judge and she could have let that overtake her and bring her down, but she chose better. That takes strength. I wished her and Nick could have stayed together, but she seems so happy now so I’m so happy for her.
