Hey guys, for today’s video, I went to little Boracay in Korea! 🌴🇵🇭 Not to mention another collab video with Sylvia! 😎 The Filipino pub in the video is in Suwon, Korea (Uncle’s Boracay). It was quite remote from my place but it was totally worth it! I felt like I was back home in the Philippines. 😭 I hope you guys enjoyed this video! :)

By the way guys just remember that I turned 18 only last year. HAHA. Hence explains the reason why I didn’t know the word TAGAY. It was also my first ever pub experience too, and I’m soooo happy that it was at this amazing Filipino pub with a super fun-to-be-with person. 💖🇵🇭🇰🇷

This comment is long but I hope it reaches you. 😄 Im giving you Jessica a 10/10 for explaining 2 styles on how to peel and eat Mangoes the practical way. It is exactly how Filipinos eat it. Thus, you really earned and deserved the "Mango Master" Title 😎. 9:26 is the part where I kept on repeating because it seemed like you were both drunk but in a happy way. So funny though 😂. "Tagay, hanggang mamatay" (old but gold saying here in the PH) 😄. Sylvia's laugh is contagious. It can spread and make someone laugh by just listening to her 😂 Thank you Jessica and Sylvia. As a filipino, you make me feel KILIG whenever you talk about Mangoes, Bora, PH Bills, Jeepney, San Miguel products, etc. And what I admire more is that it comes out naturally from you. I love you for that because it makes me appreciate more of the simple things that my country and culture have. Makes me think that sometimes, we dont need to look further. What we have in front of us is enough to be happy and contented. Basta, words cant express how I feel. Basta it brings positivity after watching the vid.😊 Once Covid 19 is over, Please come home to the PH and set a fan meeting. I really want to meet and thank you in person. Bring Sylvia with you because your tandem is a blast.😁

Anyway it will be so amazing for you, Jessica, to have a taste of your "Philippine" home and purchase products and food! And it will be so amazing if you get to introduce them to Sylvia since I am sure she will be so fascinated by the things there and let her try things that you love as well!! Honestly, TAGAY is not the actual Tagalog translation for CHEERS or KAMPAI (simply just use the word Cheers or Kampai). Tagay connotes (to command or request) that you should pour a drink in a glass and pass the glass around for others to drink. It is usually use among group of friends using only one drinking glass wherein the beer or wine or liquor is poured. We/They use only one drinking glass so everyone will have his turn to drink, and everyone will drink equally. To be fair. In cases where everyone has his/her own glass of beer, some will play it safe and take his/her drink very slowly whereas some have already consumed 2-3 bottles of beer the other one have 1 bottle that took him/her an hour or two to finished.

It just reminds me of my college years where my friend used to have a resort in Station 3 and every time we had sem break and vacation, we used to go there and spend much time without worrying the bills of our room, coz its free!!! Those were the days...

PROTIP for mango eating cause I used to eat it like this in our province. You get a whole mango and peel the the top of it to make a small hole. You eat the visible pulp on that hole then you roll the mango between your palms. The pulp inside will get crushed then you start eating it through the small hole you made.

First time watching Jessica's vlog and I thoroughly enjoyed it - it was so entertaining and funny! Love Jessica's obsession with mangoes! I totally get her because Philippine mango is definitely the best in the world! From what I remember, we used the word 'tagay' when we are passing on a shot, usually a shared shot glass within a group of friends. If we want to toast and say "Cheers!" we say, "Kampay!" (similar to the Japanese "kanpai!").

What I learned after watching this video: Filipino Mangoes: *exists* Jessica Lee: Hanggang Mamatay! (until I die!) Should have named the video title to “Koreans order mangoes at Boracays beach view pubs” Ano ba Sayang! Akkapda! But seriously I’ve noticed your edits have gotten better and when I had San Miguel when I went to the Phils recently, it was a lot lighter than I expected :|

“Tagay hanggang mamatay” means Alcohol is life, and we will drink and celebrate until we get’s old and die. Not literally drinking in one sitting until death😄 that most drunkards do. That is why there is a guideline written in bottles of alcohol “Drink moderately” that most drunkards never know and ignore. In result they walk 5 feet on the road, includes their hands and faces.😂 Actually, in the ditch not on the road😂
