My wife and I are really having fun watching your library build. Almost finished. We are so excited for you. We transitioned to a digital library...after losing our library of books, twice, because of two unrelated electrical fires many years apart. So, though we no longer have physical books, we are loving what you've done with the space...and we are truly excited for you. I was a little worried that the ALL white shelves wasn't going to be aesthetically pleasing (though each person has their likes/dislikes), but I've been pleasantly surprised...how it is coming together. Marie's loved it from the start. Looking forward to how you accessorize the room, with the knick nacks, the rug (looked beautiful online), and the chandelier (which I think looks great, though Marie thinks it will clash...we shall see). As you can see, it is probably good that WE are not trying to do this...for our views are sometime diametrically opposing (though we've been happily married for 23+ years). oh but I was just thinking that I'd sit and stare at the shelves if I was there, when you said that you need to sit down and do just that ^^ your video made me get up and clean my small collection of books. There's a scene in the movie High Fidelity (based on the book of the same name by Nick Hornby) where John Cusack's character tells his friend that he is organizing his vinyl records in chronological order - the order in which he had bought them - becoming a sort of personal diary of his life. His friend is amazed and delighted. The story is about a music nerd. If you haven't watched the movie or read the book, both are good and similar to each other.

I live in an apartment with my mom. I've a bedroom which is bedroom and book/movie collection library; there's also my TV set and our main closet. Not a fan of white, the only thing white in my room is the ceiling, walls are painted a sea blue and my bookcases, movie bookshelf they're all black because my apartment gets dusty so often, on a black surface isn't so obvious the dust 🙄. However; your library is looking amazing. Colourful decorations will look great and maybe you should hang pictures/poster anything that bring color on the walls that aren't occupied with bookshelf. It'll be nice to watch your videos with that background. And if I had to buy a desk, though my room is almost full now, it'll be black of course, I'm a gothic chick but not really 😂
