I have already made one of these, but I plan on making at least one more. Currently working on the Take A Stand that works to support this bag while it's open. I find some of the slip pockets are tight if you have anything that has any bulk, so definitely adjust them to your needs. Jess is totally right, it's not complicated, there are just a lot of steps. I love Annie's way of making all the components, and then they just all come together quickly.

I had a drapery workroom for 30 years and matching patterns is a cornerstone of window treatments, pillow, bedding and upholstery. I loved the way you matched the pink upper fabric to the lower panel. Good job!

I think Annie is very particular about allowing others to make tutorials. She makes her own which are a big selling point with her patterns. And she charges extra for “add-on” tutorials.

I am not sure why, but this was difficult for me to cut out. I think the differences with the materials, and the slight pattern change, and the fact that the 2 samples were different. It didnt make it easy for me to cut out.

I would not recommend using a stripped zipper tape for this project because if you snipped the corners it will fray badly. Thats what happened to me so never again. I will only use striped zipper tape on straight pieces.
