This is my song for today. I remember those days we would go to church not to be taught about success and money but to worship the King of kings. When Pastors would teach the Word of God and not give motivational speeches. when sin was sin and not just a mistake. When God was not tolerating sin but forgiving whoever repented.

My favorite song.🎶 My greatest desire is to serve the Lord with my whole heart being filled and anointed with his grace, and spirit and to be pleasing in his sight. brother jessy is not in heaven right now but awaits to be called up and meet our lord in the air. A very powerful and passionate singer he was..his works will testify of him and they shall follow him... 1 Thessalonians 4:13But I would not have you to be ignorant, brethren, concerning them which are asleep, that ye sorrow not, even as others which have no hope. 4:14 For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so them also which sleep in Jesus will God bring with him. 4:15 For this we say unto you by the word of the Lord, that we which are alive and remain unto the coming of the Lord shall not prevent them which are asleep. 4:16 For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first: 4:17 Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord. 4:18 Wherefore comfort one another with these words.

If, as Paul has written, to be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord, why do you suggest that he must continue even now to wait with his dust to meet Jesus in the air? I see no reason to believe that what happened to the Apostle Paul at his death should be different from what happened to Jessy Dixon. If Jessy waits then so does Paul and every other believer who's body no longer has life. We as believers in Christ will be resurrected in incorruptible bodies, of that fact there is no doubt. But make no mistake, we are more than our bodies. The parable of the rich man and Lazarus would make no sense otherwise. Loving the Lord with all of my heart, my soul, and my strength distinctly loses meaning when they are thought all to be the same thing. They are all different aspects of a whole human being. Please consider what I'm saying.
