My husband had mental health problems and the devil never ceased to trouble him. He took his own life but satan didn’t win, as he was saved through listening to gospel music. He is now where the weary is at rest. Praise god.

I wrote The Wicked Shall Cease Their Troubling in response to Woodstock. My mother had taken me with her to Woodstock and I wrote the chorus to this song 🎵 then. I wrote the verses in 1993. I was battling lymphoma at that time and expected to die. I like 👍 ♥ this version by Jessie Dixon. He is now sitting in heaven and being blessed in God's presence. And he joins his beloved wife and children there. (Four of his children preceded him in death.)

I was listening to this song when I was on my knees, crying for my mom’s health. I was devastated because she has cancer and wasn’t doing well at all. God talked to me through this praise, and when I opened the Bible, it was Psalms 27. God confirmed that we should just wait on Him. We still need a miracle, but now we have faith and praise while we wait! My mom is a woman who follows our Lord’s words, and I ask you to pray for her health as well. Her name is Maria Juracy and she has a serious Lymphoma.

What a gift God gave Jesse. This is the real deal that brings such glory to God. I'm sure he is in heaven somewhere around the throne praising God for His "Amazing Grace" that will go on for all eternity. Looking forward to be with God and Jesse for all eternity.
