It might be nice to sand the wood slats of your bench and paint the whole bench with a dark forest green Matte or gloss spray paint color. It would blend in with the surroundings and look like a antique park bench.

My sister painted her bench. One year it was red, white and blue and other years it was painted a garden green.

Curb diving... you're speaking my language. I have hauled "tons" of things from the curb, tables, planters etc. etc. etc.. The stories I could tell. lol. I don't go much anymore because I'm downsizing due to disabilities. But it hurts to pass by a pile and not look. :-(. For border rocks I've collected the whitish color limestone. I've had to curb my collecting those too. If I were younger and owned my own home , it would be a whole different story. You and your sis need to get together and have a girls day out to celebrate all the hard great work you 2 did this Summer. Go to lunch and a spa treatment :-)

Jes, you should polish it to see. They usually look like that when dry. You can find tips on polishing them online. It would be really cool to see it in its millions of years old glory. Also, they are said to bring luck. You probably know all this all ready, so apologies if you do.?! The garden is looking awesome as always 🌱🌻🌺🌿❤

Love the look of the larger rocks and how the path turned out ❤️ …even though I also love pea stone as well. When we removed our swimming pool last year there was a perfect circular area that already had pea stone layed down. We just added more and layed larger stones around the edges and added steps in the spot where the ground dropped the deepest. Built a fire pit in the center and it looks great 😅 it was a nice transition from pool to fire pit 😊 I must say that I’m feeling a little sad at this moment… haven’t seen a hummingbird in at least 4 days now… And although I planted a few new things this year and am excited to see how they come back and fill in spots next year, im just not ready for the gardening season to come to an end soon 😢

I get so inspired by all the leaf colors in your garden spaces. I am working on my Hosta and Heuchera collection...I am looking forward to your Heuchera tour!! I wish there was a way to post a picture to you of our baby puppy intently watching your video while sitting on my lap. She just may be my newest gardener's helper. Actually I keep her out of the beds because I don't want her to get into any of the plants that could be toxic. So far she is listening and is never off leash. I can't wait to see what you do with your bench...I am on the hunt for something similar for one of my spaces!!🩷🩷 Thank you for all your hard work providing inspiration for us all!!
