It is so amazing. That one thousand years before the crucifixion, it was foretold what sort of death the Lord would suffer. This is written in the Psalms also.

First off, the actual translation of the passage is still debated to this day. Second off, people's hands and feet were susceptible to being pieced as long as humans have existed. Third off, it was a Psalm by David about his own personal grief, it wasn't some kind of prophecy.

It really is amazing. And historians also acknowledge he was crucified. Jesus fulfilled over 350 references to Old Testament scripture. That uneducated followers could construct so perfect a fallacy and have it widely accepted from the time between his death to the date of the earliest manuscript would simply be impossible.

I cry everytime I see the crucifixion. Because it reminds me that I deserve that death but Jesus took it for me and his forgiveness is solid as long as we repent of our sins.

Truth, in this case, is the gut feeling that Pilot felt that scared the crap out of him, caused him to try and do what was right, that he should have followed.

The absurdity though, there was not custom Jewish nor Roman that let particular prisoners go unless of that of court, not some other celebration. And ancient period was full of people through the ancient Roman world from Greece to Egypt to Rome to even Celts and Druids of the north claiming to be various sons or daughters of gods. It was very common. Rome had already deified both prior Emperors J. Caesar and Octavian (re-termed Augusts Caesar in honor of the Augers of the Gods).

no...Pontius Pilate is a governor who is like a puppet for the Roman Emperor.... he's like a judge ( in accordance to the will of the people) while Jesus is the true Son of GOD

Grossly a-historic. The gospels were politically biased in favor of rome. Pilate was a brutal murderer who wouldnt have given a second thought to killing jesus
