I have never - in all my life - heard God characterized as His innermost being having organic, not mechanical bowels of mercy. For a recovering sinner, this makes God feel so much more approachable. I think this is backed up by Paul’s teaching that “We do not have a great high priest who is unable to sympathize with our weaknesses…”

Jesus stated that He came “to spread the gospel of the Kingdom of God.”

Amen Jesus came to save ( John 3:17😊❤) and Jesus😊1st❤ is greater. Matthew 2:13-18(The flight to Egypt) "13 Now when they had departed, behold, an angel of the Lord appeared to Joseph in a dream and said, " Rise, take the child and his mother, and flee to Egypt, and remain there until I tell you, for Herod is about to search for the child, to destroy him." 14 And he rose and took the child and his mother by night and departed to Egypt 15 and remained there until the death of Herod. This was to fulfill what the Lord had spoken by the prophet, " Out of Egypt I called my Son(Jesus 😊 1st ❤)."( Matthew 2:13-15 ESV) 2:16-18(Herod kill the Children) "16 Then Herod, when he saw that he had been tricked by the wise men, became furious and he sent and killed all the male children in Bethelem and in all that region who were two years or under, according to the time that he had ascertained from the wise men. 17 Then was fulfilled what was spoken by the prophet Jeremiah: 18 " A voice heard in Ramah, weeping and loud lamentation, Rachel weeping for her children; She refused to be comforted, because they are no more."( Matthew 2:16-18 ESV)

I have sins that I have recognised and have not repented from. I know they are sins and they feel good. My first one is erotic imaginations of an imaginary wife (Matthew 5:28-29). The second one is my disbelief that the marriage to Jesus is better than marital sexual intercourse (Matthew 22:30, Mark 12:25, Luke 20:34-36) and that the fullness of joy at His presence and the eternal pleasures of His right hand are better (Psalm 16:11). The third one is my disbelief that the name and place God will give us in heaven is better than sons and daughters (Isaiah 56:4-5). I tell myself that the marriage to Jesus and the name and place He will give us are better, but deep inside, I do not feel it. My heart has been hardened with hostility against God ever since I was 10. I blamed God for everything bad that happened. And at 13, I began to entertain myself with erotically immoral imaginations and looking at erotically immoral things, which would have been hardening my heart with sin. This continued into high school, and in high school, I knew what I was doing was sinful, but did not have the will to repent because my sin felt good. I can only pray and ask others to help me pray that God does not harden me and leave me hardened like He did to Pharoah, but that He shows mercy to me like how He showed mercy to Apostle Paul while he was on His way to kill more Christians. Because aside from God changing me, I will not have the will to change myself. Those who are Arminians will say that God has already done everything, and while I am depraved, I still have the ability to use my free will to choose obedience. Those who are Calvinists will say that I am totally depraved, and aside from God regenerating me, I will never have the will to repent and obey, and I will still be responsible for my actions. If the Arminians are right, and I am left to my own will, I am doomed.

RASPUTIN'S DAY, members of the church of Ahriman are asked to pay special homage to our Patron Saint, the Prophet Grigori Rasputin on the 30th of December. It seems that our marriage to Jesus is like a man and woman marrying, but never having anything erotic together, but having love and spiritual beauty that they could have enjoyed with each other without having married each other. It seems that the marriage to Jesus is like people loving their pastor in a non-romantic way for their kindness. My church leader told me that there is no need for earthly marriage in heaven because we will have fellowship with everyone in heaven and because God will dwell in us intimately. Is erotic intimacy in marriage even an illustration of the marriage to Jesus? Because it seems like it's only the non-erotic parts of marriage that will be part of heaven.

But what Piper leave out is that he believes Jesus came to save ONLY a few Elect. Like a fireman who only save some from a raging house fire when he could and says he desires to save all. Its not tulip, it's Daisey... He loves you, He loves you not. Flat out unbiblical.

John, people are clamoring to know where you come down on the Colorado Supreme Court/Trump issue. See, Pipes, we just don’t know what to think unless you carefully shepherd us through all the issues. We look to your Bible-soaked, Scripture-saturated wisdom for answers. We look upon your soft, yet firm fatherly voice wherein we find comfort, and solace. As the election nears, perhaps you should consider adding another daily post, something like “Piper’s Prayed-up Political Wisdom” or something. (You have made a mockery of the precious terms “Bible-soaked” and “Scripture-saturated.” For all your purported wisdom, you have turned out to be a looser, as evidenced by Biden’s incompetence and sinfulness on every issue he touches. Abortion? There is not one, even at 9+ months, he doesn’t support. Transgender “gender affirmation” surgery? He funds every one he can. Wars? We now fund two, and are goading Putin to go nuclear. Crime? He initially supported both defunding-the-police movements and every soft-on-crime DA he could find.
