To anyone out there who believes in God, then listen to His words about Jesus... "But unto the Son he saith, Thy throne, O God, is for ever and ever: a sceptre of righteousness is the sceptre of Thy kingdom." Please read the entire first chapter of Hebrews. Also words of Jesus in St. Luke 22v19&20 in which Jesus tells His disciples at the last supper that His life will be given for them. "This is my body which is given for you. This do in remembrance of me." Also V20: "This cup is the new testament in my blood, which is shed for you." Praise God I believe His Word and I have that peace in my heart, an assurance of sins forgiven and a Home in Heaven, even though I am not a Dr. of divinity. He has opened my spiritual eyes to the truth of His Word, given me a love in my heart for souls and helped me throughout the (now) many decades of my life to trust Him by faith for each new day whatever it holds.

It is agreed by majority biblical scholars that Jesus spoke Aramaic as an everyday language, it is therefore necessary that we consider the language He spoke though the new testament was transcribed in Greek. John 14:6 Aramaic bible in plain English Yeshua said to him, “I AM THE LIVING GOD, The Way and The Truth and The Life; no man comes to my Father but by me alone.” John 8:58 Aramaic bible in plain English Yeshua said to them: “Timeless truth I speak to you: Before Abraham would exist, I AM THE LIVING GOD.” This gentleman needs to come to bible study and sit down and be taught the basics, so he can go back and reteach the masses he has deceived/mislead.

It's amazing: a 13-minute video and not once did Dr. Naik even try to explain the doctrine of the Trinity which is central to the Christian concept of God. Even if the Trinity isn't true, and Dr. Naik wants to argue against it, wouldn't it make sense to explain what it actually teaches? Does Dr. Naik not know? (Of course he doesn't know.) "Islam is the only non-Christian faith which makes it an article of faith to believe in Jesus Christ." Well, the Jehovah's Witnesses and the Mormons also make it an article of faith to believe in Jesus. They're not Christians. But, like the JWs and Mormons, Islam teaches you must believe in Jesus but twists Jesus into something he wasn't and isn't. That's not respect or "belief." "We believe he was the Messiah, translated Christ." Yes, but Muslims have no idea what that term means. According to the Bible, the Messiah was an "anointed one" who would be born to die for sins (Isaiah 53, Zechariah 12:10-13:1), bring all people groups to worship the God of Israel (Isaiah 49:6), and ultimately reign as a heavenly king over all people groups (Daniel 7:13-14). Islam doesn't teach that about Jesus. It may use the same term, but it empties that term of all of its meaning. "We believe he was born miraculously, without any male intervention, which many modern-day Christians do not believe." It's hard to know what Dr. Naik means by this. Many Muslims assume that Christians believe God had sex with Mary to produce Jesus. But Trinitarian Christians have never believed this. To say that God had sex with Mary would be blasphemous to every Trinitarian. Why doesn't Dr. Naik clarify? "There is not a single unequivocal statement, a single unambiguous statement in the complete Bible where Jesus himself says, 'I am God' or 'worship me.'" Then why is it that Muslims claim the Injeel is corrupted, Dr. Naik? If Jesus never claimed to be God anywhere in the Injeel, then Muslims have no reason to say that the Injeel is corrupted. But of course, they do say the Injeel is corrupted. Why? Because they know that Jesus does talk about himself as if he is God many times in the New Testament. Here are a few examples (though I could list many more): In Matthew 11:27, Jesus directly contradicts Surah 5:116. In Mark 14:61-65, Jesus, while he is on trial, describes himself as the "Son of Man" of Daniel 7:13-14 who deserves the "worship" of all nations. The Jewish leaders recognize this as blasphemy and condemn him to death because of it. If Jesus never claimed to be God, the Jewish leaders would have had no grounds to execute him. In Luke 20:9-18, Jesus tells a story in which he describes himself as God's "son and heir" (owning what God owns) in contrast to previous messengers and servants. He uses this story to describe his death (which Muslims deny), leaves no room for a prophet to come after him, and then describes himself as the "rock" from Isaiah 8:13-15, ie God. In John 5:23, Jesus commands people to "honour him just as they honour the Father." How do people honour the Father? By worship. In John 8:58, Jesus, in a discussion about his relationship to Abraham, claimed he preexisted Abraham, saying, "Before Abraham was, I am." In saying "I am," he is applying to himself God's divine covenant name from Exodus 3:13-15 and Isaiah 43:10. The Jews identify this as blasphemy and try to stone him. In John 10:30, Jesus claims to be "one with the Father" in his ability to give eternal life, and keep people in eternal life. Jesus has the same power as the Father does. The Jews identify this as blasphemy and try to kill him--twice. In John 20:24-29, Jesus' disciple Thomas addresses him by saying, "My Lord and my God!" Jesus identifies this as a statement of legitimate belief. But if Muslims really are all about "single unambiguous statements" from Jesus, why do they ignore statements like in Matthew 20:17-19 or Mark 8:31-38, where Jesus "unambiguously land unequivocally" claims he will die on the cross and rise again? Dr. Naik himself claims that if a Christian can provide a "single unambiguous statement" from Jesus to the effect that he is God, Dr. Naik is ready to accept Christianity. I've provided several above, but why doesn't Dr. Naik demand the same criteria with regards to Jesus' death? Because he knows that Jesus spoke about his death by crucifixion even more explicitly. Isn't that dishonest? Or what about prophesying Muhammad? Dr. Naik demands "single, unequivocal statements" from the mouth of Jesus regarding Jesus' divinity, but not Muhammad's prophethood? The name "Ahmad" doesn't occur once in the Gospels, even though the Qur'an says it should (Surah 61:6). John 14-16 isn't about Muhammad, because Jesus promises the Comforter will comfort Jesus' original followers in his absence , and Muhammad was born 500 years too late to do that. Where, then, is the "single unequivocal statement," that fits Surah 61:6, Dr. Naik? If you'd like more examples of where Jesus says he would/did die on the cross, here are a few: Matthew 16:21-23 Matthew 17:22-23 Matthew 20:17-18 Matthew 20:28 Matthew 26:26-29 Mark 8:27-9:1 Mark 9:30-32 Mark 10:32-34 Mark 10:45 Luke 9:21-22 Luke 9:43b-45 Luke 18:31-34 Luke 24:44-49 John 10:11 John 10:17-18 John 12:23-24 Notice as well in all the verses Dr. Naik quotes, he never gives context. Why? "John 14:28." Jesus is referring to the fact that he is incarnate on earth, while the Father sits enthroned in heaven in glory, and how he will return to the Father soon, so the disciples should rejoice. He's not denying himself to be equal with the Father. "John 10:29." Look at the context. In the very next verse, he says "I and the Father are one"--specifically in regards to their power to give eternal life. Dr. Naik takes verses out of context. Every verse he uses to prove that Jesus does miracles by God's power does not deny at all that Jesus was God. "John 5:30." Jesus is addressing Jews who heard him claim to be God earlier in the chapter and thought he must be a rival to the true God. Jesus says what he says in John 5:19 and John 30 to prove that he is on the same team as the Father, rather than working against Him. But in the same context, he also says that he has the same right as the Father to work on the Sabbath "calling himself equal with God" (John 5:18), and claims to have the power to raise the dead on the last day (something only God can do). "Anyone who says, 'I seek not my will but the will of Almighty God' is a Muslim. So Jesus Christ was a Muslim." Since the Trinity actually teaches that God is one in Being, and yet within that oneness, there are three distinct Persons, it shouldn't be surprising to a Trinitarian that Jesus seeks the will of the Father. What would the alternative be? That Jesus opposes the will of the Father? If he had said that, that would be a denial of the Trinity. That aside, Dr. Naik is being deeply dishonest in this conclusion. After all, Jesus said all sorts of other things that contradict Islam--in the very chapter Dr. Naik is quoting here. Just on a basic level, why would Jesus call God "Father" if he was a Muslim? The Qur'an teaches that God is a Father to no one (Surah 19:88-93), that he can't beget a son because he has no consort (Surah 6:100-101), and that he could choose to adopt sons out of those he had made, but won't (Surah 39:4). The Qur'an doesn't seem to have any understanding of what Christians actually believe--it doesn't address whether or not God can exist as one Being comprised of three coequal, coeternal Persons--but if Jesus meant anything by calling God his own Father, he couldn't have agreed with these three verses.

Revelation 1:8 JESUS says, " I am the First and the Last, says the Lord God who is and was and is to come, the Ruler of all." This is 1 ambiguous statement. HE clearly calls HIMSELF GOD and also uses the same title the Qur'an uses for allah. Do you want more? It's in the Bible, so are you ready to convert? 28 Thomas said to him, “My Lord and my God!” 29 Then Jesus told him, “Because you have seen me, you have believed; blessed are those who have not seen and yet have believed.” Jesus didn't say don't call me GOD but said because you seen you believe. When you also quote John chapter 16 you admitted Muhammad will glorify JESUS and only GOD should be glorified. You also kept out the part where JESUS said HE will send the messenger and the Qur'an says Muhammad was sent by GOD. Your book calls JESUS GOD.

Jesus does not need to claim He is the Son of God just like you don't have to go around telling everyone who you are and your family background. Besides the scriptures in both the Old and New testaments point out very clearly that Jesus is indeed the Son of God. You may be filled with knowledge but brother you lack wisdom
