Dear Michael, This is the Christian hymn entitled Jesus Shall Reign Where'er The Sun, modernized by Mr Kieth and Mrs Krystin Getty from Northern Ireland. This is one of my favourite hymns.

@@animaticToshiue The last enemy is death, ours not his. He already conquered the power of death over him at the resurrection. There isn't anything left for him to do to be King so he is but Christians hate to recognize that, they are the ones who won't be recognized.

wow! wow! this version of the hymn is pretty amazing. one of the best versions of my favorite hymn. it's a great piece of music indeed.

Amen, he reigns NOW not on standby till "shall reign" later. He isn't God, his Father is. The Father is God. John 4:23 But the hour cometh, and now is, when the true worshippers shall worship the Father in spirit and in truth: for the Father seeketh such to worship him. Believing Christ is God isn't believing he is the Son of God. It denies both God and his Son.

The very fact that you pray like that comes from the very heart of Jesus. It is the Holy Spirit that teaches you to pray like that. Don't be discouraged. You honor Him and His sacrifice when you come to Him.

different, definitely switched the lyrics around, I do like the extras; but we skipped one entire verse altogether "To HIM shall endless prayer be made, and endless praises crown HIS HEAD, HIS name like sweet perfume shall rise, with every morning sacrifice" - to GOD, our endless prayers certainly need to be made, learning this more and more, sigh

Love your music and am so thankful these modern interpretation of ancient hymns. Just one suggestion in this hymn. The sun rises and sets as does the moon, however the sun doesn't wax and wane. only the moon moves from full to partial - waxing and waning. When we sing a hymn it must ring entirely true or we are conflicted about the value of the hymn.

You will have to take that up with Isaac Watts, as he wrote that original version of the hymn. There is no waxing and waning in this version-
