Phil whickhams music is a blessing from God. Through his music the Lord has helped me so much. I’m 19 years old, grew up in the church, knew about God, was even baptized at 13. But I rejected it all completely by the way I lived, and there the Lord came running inspite of it all, there he hung on the cross to save me and he rose again. The King of King, Lord of Lord, God in the flesh he died for me. He saved me. If he can with me you can with you. If you would just turn to him and trust him completely, forget all these worldly things and get in your Bible and prayer have a relationship with him devote your life to him and do it because he has loved you all the way to cross and died for you. Come on! Turn to him!! Is his arm too short that it cannot save!? I reckon the Lord can and will saved the “worst of the worst” you are never ever too far gone for him to reach he is God. And he loves you and will forgive you please just come to him and turn to him. I beg you, there is only love in the heart of God!

As I sit here on October 9, 2022 I am agreeing in worship as my dad is in the hospital and they have just removed the oxygen and feeding tube. I trust the Lord has him in His arms. This is bringing me peace.

This album ministered to my soul for many nights at the brilliant Birmingham Children's Hospital caring for my son with leukemia. He was diagnosed at 11 months. He turns 2 in a week, completely cancer free. My wife and I are eternally grateful to Jesus for his healing. God bless you, Phil.

At the age of 12 I had begun to have suicidal thoughts because I hated myself and the way I looked I tried very hard to become the image that the world wanted me to be. When I met Jesus . I was set free from all that. Jesus changed my life and my family’s life as well.

I just wanted to tell you how God has used your music to bless me. In April 2010 my pregnancy was not going well. As I rushed to the hospital early in the morning, obviously scared, your song Safe came on the radio. I had never heard the song. The words of the chorus stuck in my head. I was in the hospital for a few weeks and then had to go home while my son was still in the NICU. That whole time, when it was quiet, that song stayed in my mind, a constant reminder that God was protecting me and my son. This month my son will be 12. Praise God!!! Thank you for your music that proclaims Christ and is a reminder that God is with us and for us.

I had to become a child soldier just to survive. I did all kinds of things to get through each day. I never felt good enough for anything because I never saw my parents. i tried killing my self so many times, but God always saved me. I never had a family growing up but today, I have a beautiful wife that loves me very much! and we have an Orphanage 69 children living with HIV that we take care of and they are our family. I was addicted to my partner... I hoped that we could be really happy... But we were different and Jesus saved me that day that I had an accident. I understood that it was a warning... I followed Jesus in everyway but my partner don't. So we broke up. I pray to peace for both of us. Thank you God. You saved me from that situation. God touched and healed me in a special way when I was 16. I had depression and my life seemed to be going nowhere. That was 27 years ago. Needless to say, I have never gotten over His peace and the love that he filled me with. There is a fire burning in my heart for Him. I don’t know how many others listening to these songs feel the way I do…but their is a never ending battle within my soul. On one hand I am nothing but a sinner and deserve nothing in this life and without Him I wouldn’t have breath in my lungs. The Holy Spirit woke me up this morning at 4 am, and I finally was able to ask Him what do I need to pray for, whom should I pray for and He told me that He woke me up so I would not die today in my sleep, He said "pray for yourself to stay alive". So I prayed and prayed again just now while listening to "The God of revival"...I am amazed beyond words about how the words of "my" prayer aligned with the words of the song...as I thanked Him for waking me up...I'm in tears of joy and gratitude HALLELUYAH Especially because not long ago I was the one pleading to Him to take me home to Him, because I couldn't put up with the pain of being in the world anymore, and ...wow...another song "the pain is gone"...This truly is the power of the Holy Spirit! Yes, the pain is gone, or even if it isn't gone it feels as if it is no longer there, because I'm finally enabled by His grace (after I surrendered everything) to rejoice in pain and for the first time in my life to know what it means to walk in the power of YHWH. I am free from alcohol 27 months, free from cigarettes 10 months and marijuana 2 months and I do not take anymore more Valium for anxiety. I'm in my 70s and I first heard Phil Wickham only 4 months ago, but became convinced after watching his videos, in-the-moment cell phone takes, on live TV that he really loves the Lord and is being used by Him. My kids are in their 50s & 40s and 2 aren't walking with our Lord. They say they are, but they aren't . I had them listen to several of his songs. God has used them to open their hearts again to Jesus. They have done a 360° about face and are walking again with the Lord. The chains that had binded them are gone! They are truly free!!! Not only are they and their families rejoicing, but we are too. Those who know them are asking ...how? They are sharing what Jesus has done through the songs, with everyone. It's unbelievable what Jesus can do...from giving one a song, to one hearing that song, to being instantly set free from bondage! To evangiism. Praise God Almighty!
