@@sp317 - there will be counterfeits. For the believer, however, God will protect those who do not have the right heart which desires his presence first. A believer, whether brand new or more mature, who has the right heart will move in incredible ways of supernatural. I laugh almost every time when I read in the Book of Acts about the seven sons of Sceva. They cast out demons with Jesus name but did not follow Jesus. One day a particular demon answered "Jesus I know, and Paul I know, but who are you?" The demon posessed man then proceeded to beat them so bad that they all fled in terror, half naked.

I agree 110%....sadly there are churches these days that donot believe in signs, miracles and wonders as well as speaking in tongues...they think God did that back in the old testament times only. I say this because I was given the gift of speaking in tongues not long ago...and believe me...I didnt know what to think? or what I am saying...still asking God to give me the ability to interpret. I have had atleast one person who also speaks in tongues listen to me to give me clarity. It is very weird to not understand what you are saying but by faith I pray in my "prayer language" and hope it is pleasing to the Father...it is the Holy Spirit speaking so I know God understands.

@@yehannahawkins1391 Greetings my friend let me bring you some clarification,there is two types of tongues, Tongues interpretation, and the gift of tongues your prayer language which is what you have,the Bible says you speak mysteries between you n God which I covet and speak everyday. This will draw you closer to him it is the perfect prayer . Times when you don't know how to pray or for who you pray in tongues or some say pray in the holy ghost. In 1974 on the 4th of Of July I gave my life to Jesus the next morning I was filled with the holy spirit speaking in tongues in my sleep. Most valuable tool you can have as a Christian I could tell you stories but I will say listen to this minster he will guide hou in the right direction oh by the way tongues interpretation Usually happens in church where someone may speak outloud above all other voices in tongues then Someone or that person interprets the tongues in our natural language hope that helps ,and one more thing you dont have to pray that God is pleased with you , he truly ,and delightfully is pleased with your heart sincerely. God bless you Pastor. I want to know more about Jesus and I am happy God lead you share the scriptures to back up the message. Blessing. 2 weeks after I got baptized I began having visions even when I was wide awake. I was traveling home and stopped at a murder scene and God showed me the victim in a bubble pounding trying to come back but he could not escape, and there was a demon dressed as a grim reaper behind him who came for his soul. I did not see the victim's face at that time, two days God showed me the young man in a dream and when they did a less release on the news site, it was the same young man. God is so real. The spiritual realm is real. Lord help us.

In order to touch the supernatural you must spend time with God alone. I have experienced this myself and the manifestations are mighty. I spent 4 hours in the mornings with God alone. I have experienced visions, dreams and great manifestations of miracles and I witnessed angels before me. Spending TIME WITH GOD is the KEY.

The only time I know Jesus spoke to me was when I had cried all night because my niece is in love with another woman and other Christians had told me that God would not accept this type of love. I love my niece like my own child - I lost my only son - I know he told me not to dwell upon this anymore and just to concentrate on my journey with him. I was instantly comforted and had peace. I'm so excited about this teaching. God has been moving mightily in 2020. This is the icing and the cake together. My desire is to know God in this very manner. Thank you Dr. Bridges for being obedient to God.
