“The people of the Prince to come”. It’s the Romans. But The Revived Roman Empire is NATO today. The Prince could be anyone from that NATO Alliance. Funny how President Biden is pressuring Israel to implement a ceasefire in Gaza. For those who say that America is not in the Bible. I disagree. It is part of the Revived Roman Empire because it is part of NATO. I think Biden will pressure Israel to accept a Peace Treaty. Maybe that will be covenant that will be broken. There is no greater prophets than those of old. Living in the simplest of times. For even then, there words had no leaning. Two thousand years later. Their words are everything. Just as modern day prophets are obscure and “mean nothing” For Christ is coming. “Many will look and long for the days of the son of man. Well, never heard this before "satan doesn't understand scripture" Yes. How can he? He hasn't the nature to comprehend anything but killing and destroying and stealing. Gods love, redeeming Grace, Holiness and beneficent Divinity are not knowable to one in degradation.. Listen to KJV instead of NIV. Why? Missing Bible verses: For those of you who want to know, here is a list of the “missing” verses from the NIV: (Mt 17:21)(Mt 18:11)(Mt 23:14)(Mk 7:16)(Mk 9:44,46)(Mk 11:26)(Mk 15:28)(Lk 17:36)(Lk 23:17)(Jn 5:4)(Acts 8:37)(Acts 15:34)(Acts 24:7)(Acts 28:29)(Rom 16:24). It should be noted that these are also missing from other Bible versions like the NLT, RSV, NRSV, CEV. The New International Version (NIV) weakens doctrines directly related to Jesus. For example, in Luke 9:56 and Matt 18:11, the NIV leaves out the entire sentence which declares Christ's purpose in coming to earth. Christ's role as Creator is diminished in Eph 3:9 where the NIV neglects to specify that God created all things "by Jesus Christ." A cloud is drawn across the teaching of the virgin birth in Luke 2:33 where "Joseph and his mother" in the KJV is replaced with "The child's father and mother," in the NIV. (See also Luke 2:43.) In Luke 2:49, which did Jesus really say, "I must be about my Father's business" (KJV), or "I had to be in my father's house" (NIV)? One of these statements has to be wrong. The NIV completely omits Matt 23:14 where Jesus pronounces woe on the hypocritical Pharisees who "devour widow's houses, and for a pretense make long prayers." Is this any surprise? The NIV (as well as all the other modern translations) are based on the Westcott and Hort Greek text using Roman Catholic manuscripts. Who else would be embarrassed by this verse except the Revelation 17 and 18 prostitute church which "hath glorified herself and lived deliciously" at the expense of the poor, then pronounces pious "Hail Marys" over them.

I'd like to point out to everyone that the "temple mount" is NOT where the temple was. the temple mount was a military fort. the temple was 600 feet downhill by the Gihon spring in the city of David. check these verses: 2sam 24:21-24, 1chronicles 21:15, 18, 22, 25; 2chronicles 3:1

Yes the temple mount is where it is today. It was purchased by King David from Anaurah the Jebusite and was a threshing floor.. Solomon built his temple on this site 1,000 BCE. The Antonia fort wasn't built until 1st century BCE. Solomon built his temple on the summit of Mt. Moriah same place Abraham was told to sacrifice his son of promise.

Ive always heard/ read that scripture as when we see the ATCD standing in the "holy place".... you are saying in the temple. Do some texts say in the temple? Remember how God told Moses to remove his sandals because he was standing on holy ground? Isnt it possible that somewhere on the temple mount there could be open space that formerly was the place of the holy of holies area within temple 2 ? And could it be possible God considers that "spot" to be holy, regardless of whether man has constructed a temple around it or..... sadly..... doesn't realize the significance of the spot and regularly steps over it .... or perhaps has piled something over it? It would be a terrible thing if the temple would only come down from heaven and people didn't prepare because they kept waiting for a manmade temple.....due to a mis-interpretation of Scripture. Hopefully someone has better understanding than me and can identify the leap from holy place to temple. Sacrifices were being offered already without a temple so this seems to be ripe for misunderstanding.

I don't think it necessarily just means the physical temple. I think it's talking about transhumanism in the temple of the body, which the Bible says took the place of the temple. I believe it's both, but I believe that is the bigger symbolic picture. When you see that which should not be in a state of complete emptiness in the body, is one way to interpret it when you break down the meaning of the word abomination turn on my desolation and what the temple is

Dispensationalism is of the devil to see prophecy under Old Covenant; prophecy can only be understood under the New Covenant; however if don't have a proper understanding of the shadow Col 2:14-17 nailed to the cross, can't properly understand the New. The unbelieving Jews still stumble at that stumbling block and sad to say vast majority of Christians are repeating same mistake as unbelieving Jews!

Thank you John! Just subscribed. Exactly what I’ve struggled with trying to interpret the Biblical prophecy of the Second Coming. I’m a retired building inspector and over the year’s have been so busy with building code’s that quite frankly have not studied the Bible as I should. Now I have all the time to dig into Scripture for my glorious promise Jesus gives me for my future eternity in Paradise! But I’ve always been perplexed hearing so many ministers explain this subject. You certainly have clear and precise answers to this subject. Even as you have shown God has kept something’s a mystery and requires our faithful walk until his return. Unbelieving Israel did not receive Jesus as their Messiah and are still waiting for their Messiah, that's what (national) or as the nation goes, the leadership (Sanhedrin) (priesthood), desire to rebuild the Temple and institute the Old Testament sacrificial laws. Seven years are left on the 490 years prophecy given to Jeremiah - 483 have passed seven years remain to usher in everlasting peace (Jacob's troubles) Jesus will return at the when all looks lost for Israel 1/3 will be saved out of their troubles and 2/3 will be lost. The LORD is not through with Israel. The seven years is the tribulation and the great tribulation.

Jesus was the start of Tribulation Matthew 13:21/Luke 8:11/Galatians 3:16 and now you have a new seed and have been in tribulation for almost 3- and 1/2-years, Revelation 12:17 which is Daniel 10:21 (Testimony of truth) for Jesus destroyed the Temple and the Laws and became the Temple of today. So, if Jesus is the Temple, how then can it be built with hands? John 2:19 & 2:21/Hebrews 9:11/Revelation 21:22 and Matthew 16:18 Satan cannot setup in the Temple no more! the tribulation starts with the peace treaty with 'the many'.... not Jesus. those verses you quote, say NOTHING WHATSOEVER about jesus being the temple or the start of tribulation. plus, there was tribulation in those days, tribulation has always been with humans, but we are speaking of "the GREAT tribulation, such as has never been or ever will be again"

@@jamesdean3838 Yes, it says Tribulation is caused by the word, the word was Jesus and John 2:19 and 2:21/Luke 13:32/Hebrews 5:8-9/Hebrews 9:11 note; 5:8 he was the Son. (He became the Temple Rev.21:22) All prophecies were fulfilled by Jesus that were written of him by the prophets, Luke 24:44/Acts 13:29/Ephesians 4:10. This includes the Revelation of Jesus Rev.22:3/Galatians 3:13 Jesus saved the world he was cast out of John 1:29/John 12:31, 13:1, 16:11, 17:6 (Where I go you cannot follow, John 7:34/John 18:36 My kingdom is not of this world, Matthew 25:34 go to the kingdom my Father has prepared for you) Jesus saved Israel the Jews and by this we (Gentiles) can now be drafted into his Covenant and now the promise comes to the Gentiles Romans 15:12/Isaiah 9:6 Come the middle of August America will have been in tribulation for 3.5 years for Michael (The seed) has been here in America for those who believe God bless

A temple before the trib starts? I actually think that what will be operating on the Temple mount then will be the rebuilt Tabernacle of David. It's in the Amos 9:11 prophecy.

@@jamesdean3838 Not so. The Holy of Holies sat where The Dome of the Spirits sits today. The keyways to Solomon's sand lever elevator system are still there. Bet you know nothing of that. Solomon built the Temple around 1,000 BCE..Rome had no fort at that time. David purchased a threshing floor from Araunah the Jebusite on Mt Moriah for 50 pieces of silver. 2 Samuel 24:18-25. Solomon built the Temple on the land purchased by King David on the summit of Mt Moriah same place Abraham was told to sacrifice his son Isaac. Check your Bible.

@@jamesdean3838 No, I didn't say that. The Temple mount is where the Dome of the Rock sits today. That is the Temple mount. The Antonia fort was built around the 1st century BCE on the Temple mount. Again Solomon built his temple on that very temple mount and it was destroyed around 600 BCE by Nebuchadnezzar. I tried to tell you more but either Google or you took it down. The threshing floor was built on the SUMMIT of highest peak of Mt. Moriah. The city of David was below that. This is why David purchased this plot to build the Altar to YHVH GOD.

@@thomasprice1320 yes, that IS the 'temple mount'. but the temple was never there. people in later times assumed it was the temple mount because of the large foundation. but don't forget that Jesus said that not one stone would be left on top of another. look at the city of david-a total waste with no stone on top of another. but the temple mount is DEFINITELY rocks on top of one another.

Dear Dr Barnett, the math at 31:57 mark is wrong. Threescore and two weeks is 62 weeks (not 69). Further, the people who killed the Messiah was not the Romans. Just a thought on this subject my dear believer in Jesus unfortunately following the false pretrib rapture doctrine!! As you well know, many prophecies have several fulfillments. Isn't it possible that the actual temple destroyed and the daily rituals were put to an end in 69ad?? And the future abomination of desolation is the mark of the beast on the human body ( temple of God) and the future implimentation of the daily sacrifices is witnessing sharing the bible and praying made against the law to do such things. ?? Although i know about the measurements of the third temple in rev11. possibly points to a third temple yet i dont know if a third building is to be considered HOLY??? Just a thought!!!

You truly are the blind leading the blind, Daniel chapter 9:24-27 was 3.5 years (first half of trib.) tribulation which arose because of Jesus Matthew 13:21 (Luke 8:11/Galatians 3:16) and the Messiah being cut off after the 3.5 years (The length of Jesus preaching to the Jews only) was by crucifixion, in which Jesus destroyed the Temple and said in 3 days I will rise it up. John 2:19 & 2:21 and Jesus said the gates of hell will NOT prevail against my Church which is his body Matthew 16:18 Which shows Satan cannot set up in the temple no more. You are saying that God has slacked off on giving his promise to the Jews (1 Peter 3:9) Jesus fulfilled all prophecies written of him Luke 24:44/John 19:28/Acts 13:29/Ephesians 4:10 and Jesus completed the will of God it was finished John 17:4 as the PROMISE was given to the Jews as it is written Hebrews 6:15, & 9:15/Romans 4:16/Galatians 3:16 & 3:19 and Galatians 3:22 All that were under sin under the Law which goes back to Hebrews 9:15 and 9:26 the end of the world Galatians 1:4. How much more proof do you need to realize you are in damnation for your faulty teachings? Revelation 12:9 the whole world is deceived, showing all teachers know not truth or it would say some of the world or part of the world. Greetings, Christ made it very clear he would return in the lifetime of his audience, Matthew 16:28 Verily I say unto you, There be some standing here, which shall not taste of death, till they see the Son of man coming in his kingdom. 10:23 But when they persecute you in this city, flee ye into another: for verily I say unto you, Ye shall not have gone over the cities of Israel, till the Son of man be come., Matthew 11:13 For all the prophets and the law prophesied until John. Luke 21:22 For these be the days of vengeance, that all things which are written may be fulfilled. Simply, in Matthew 23 Christ tells the scribes and Pharisees that upon them will come the judgment for killing the prophets and all the righteous blood they shed. He told "them" their house would be left desolate. "Their" house is the temple. Christ tells the apostles that the temple would be torn to the ground. They asked when? He told them very plainly, in great detail, the events leading up to his coming. His Father came, many, many times in the past, read the prophets, all of them, every word. Christ came just like his Father had come in the past, no difference, exactly when he said he would, in the generation of the audience to whom he preached. Every New Testament author told their immediate audience they would witness the revelation/resurrection/gathering/salvation/parousia/second coming of Christ, they did. There is a reason no one has seen or heard from a prophet of God for nearly 2,000 years, it is finished. your friend

that's a lie. NO WHERE in any of those verses is it written that the temple will be there at the START of the tribulation. those verses only state that the temple will be there operating at the MIDDLE of the tribulation. it is NOT specific about WHEN the temple will be built. can't believe you didn't notice this and jumped to conclusions. the temple does NOT have to be operating at the beginning, only by the middle of the week.

Know therefore and understand, that from the going forth of the commandment to restore and to build Jerusalem unto the Messiah the Prince shall be seven weeks, and threescore and two weeks: the street shall be built again, and the wall, even in troublous times. The Prince who is the 8th coming from the 7th. There’s only one country who has only had 7 kings…oil. She, Babylon the Great, the US sits with kings on 7 mountains. Ericblocker, you do not understand the scripture. Pastor John is absolutely correct, an in total agreement with the early Church fathers. Mohammed wasnt around until centuries later, and I don't believe he understood or relayed the message correctly that the Angel he says spoke to him gave him. He started a huge lie. Note a temple is directly spoken of in the first verse. ”Then I was given a measuring rod like a staff, and I was told, “Rise and measure the temple of God and the altar and those who worship there, but do not measure the court outside the temple; leave that out, for it is given over to the nations, and they will trample the holy city for forty-two months. And I will grant authority to my two witnesses, and they will prophesy for 1,260 days, clothed in sackcloth.” These are the two olive trees and the two lampstands that stand before the Lord of the earth. The true calender is measured in hodesh there are 12 hodesh in a year a hodesh can be 40 days or 18 days. A hodesh is when the sun is in one of the 12 constilations. So the jews could not see the sun in a constalatiin so they measured it by the moon making there calender 1 day out ever 122 years

God ended his relationship with Israel long ago. The last remaining tribe of Judah had the Temple and Jerusalem destroyed. God's New Covenant people are the Israel of prophecy now. 1 Peter 2:9,10. The new Temple of God is now operating. 1 Corinthians 3:16,17.

Compare Jesus' words at John 4:21. But the Israel in prophecy was not defeated. The Israel built on the 12 Apostles of Jesus is the New Covenant people. The New Israel. Preterist academic scholars generally identify the first beast from the sea with the Roman Empire, particularly with Emperor Nero. The beast from the earth is generally identified with the Roman imperial cult. The US is the modern Roman empire. It's based off of it to an astounding degree. I really believe Trump is the antichrist. I've never seen a more boastful being.
