Fist of Legend is a 1994 Hong Kong martial arts action film directed by Gordon Chan, featuring action choreography by Yuen Woo-ping, and produced by and starring Jet Li.It is a remake of the 1972 film Fist of Fury, which starred Bruce Lee as the lead character. The film is set in Shanghai International Settlement in 1937 during the Second Sino-Japanese War as the city is occupied by Japanese forces.

Don't forget than Chen zhen walk in with shoes on japanese dojo disobeying a japanese tradition. That's more offensive than showing the middle finger.

I just found out that the first japanese guy who told him to walk away with his shoes is Kenji Tanigaki- The OG of Hong kong action choreography and the choreographer for Rurouni Kenshin movies!

One of THE BEST, if not, THE BEST Kung-fu movie EVER made. Even the feeling I get ... the attachment from the time period when I initially watched it has been preserved in my brain. There is such an aura, an energy that just cannot be remade. I don't know, I wish people. Another epic Kung Fu movie is Tai Chi Master (Jet Li and Siu-ho Chin again) which is probably my favourite kung-fu movie tied with this. I'd really like if anyone could tell me ANY 'retro' kung fu movie that rivals these.

It’s a mistake actually if you watched the full movie. Jet Li had just returned from Japan in this attire so this pair of shoes should be Japanese shoes.

Still prefer Jet Li over Donnie Yen in terms of charisma. Jet is always humble and calm while Donnie a complete show off.

this is much better than bruce lee's dojo fight. i have a lot of respect for bruce lee but most of his fight scenes are just him screaming WWWAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHH at the top of his lungs which is pretty ridiculous and annoying.

The Bruce Lee one was better and it’s original. This fight scene was terrible and it was ridiculously sped up…🤷‍♂️🤦‍♀️🥶 Jet li has much better fight scenes in other movies..but this was bad..🤷‍♂️😆

Jet Li’s modern fighting style here seemed rather awkward (Stand-ins were used for most hidden angles). He is probably more suited for those traditional displays often seen in his period dramas.
